Myself and a friend had been booked into a different apartment in another location 10 minutes drive away, originally but were told on arrival that the room was not available, and we could have either a upgrade to this one or a refund. Given that the word upgrade was mentioned, we opted for this one. Big mistake. We were given the keccode for apartment 5 and let ourselves in. Not only was the apartment very shaby, but the bathroom was across the hall. It was private and not shared, but it was not on suite as the original apartment we booked was.
Another major issue was the room itself was freezing cold. There was one small heater on the wall which only seemed to heat the area directly in front of it. The separate bathroom was even worse!!
The mattress on the bed had many springs that were sticking out, making for a very cold and very uncomfortable night.

Wow DONT stay here what a joke of a place to stay it was filthy and disgusting and stunk (apartment 1 actually had food in the microwave still) we stayed here on the GNR weekend for one night and they charged us a fortune to stay there, they actually need to pay you to stay there!! |My niece and her partner were doing the GNR the day after and couldn’t stay there so went all the way back home and came back again the morning for the run |Never stayed any where like it! We came back after having something to eat and it stunk of weed in the hall way we didn’t sleep a wink that night bed was so uncomfortable and we slept with our clothes on. We contacted the owner on the night to send them photos and say how disgusted we were and were fobbed off and then they have the cheek to charge you £150 damages charge!! They seriously need to sort their cleaners out |AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!!!

The apartment was dangerous There was water coming through the ceiling in the living room. 60cm long. The celing looked like it was going to collapse. You could see there had been previous leaks on the ceiling. The celing was in hazardous condition. There was also an open electric plug socket. It took 15 hours for the staff to find a solution that was unsuitable. Had to check out days early and no refund issue||On the day you arrive they will they||ask you to transfer £300 deposit directly into the bank they do not allow you to pay by credit or bank card which means you are not covered by your bank. It took an extremely long time and repeated messages to receive the deposit back. The hotel may seem a fair price, the uncertainty of not receiving your deposit back could make it very expensive its dangerous and not worth the hassle. Communication was non-existent. Will most definitely be reporting the hotel to trading standards.

Whatever you do, do not give your hard earned money to these people. We booked this for one night as we needed a base to stay en route to another destination. I paid the initial payment to Hotels.com who have them passed my phone number on to the guy who owns the property. The guy WhatsApped me in the day saying that I need to pay £100 damage deposit before he would give me the code to enter the property. I reluctantly paid as I have two children with me and I would’ve been stranded in a place miles from home. Once in the property, I realised that there is damage everywhere to chairs, kitchen equipment, the place was FILTHY. Don’t think it’s ever had a hoover, there was dirty socks on the floor, someone else’s dirty clothes still left in the washing machine and to top it all off, a DIRTY, USED NAPPY on the bathroom floor, someone’s clothes still in the washing machine and no hot water or heating . ||||I rang multiple times and he ignored my calls, despite being active on WhatsApp. When I finally got hold of people from the number provided by Hotels.com, they kept saying someone would get back to me. I kept ringing them and no one got back to me. Also whilst I was there, two different people knocked the apartment door and the room had been booked out to them too so they were stranded. ||||I feel guilty for making my children stay in this filthy hellhole for one night but it was either that or the streets. Hotels.com who I booked it through have been NO HELP AT ALL and offered me 12USD even though I’m £155 out of pocket. Trading standards and environmental health are next to be contacted as I will not leave this lie. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! they will put you in this dirty and damaged property and then charge YOU for the damage and mess. SCAMMERS!!

We booked to stay here for a week in July. When we arrived they had mixed all the rooms up so we had to stay in a room with a broken window and telly. ||None of this was a problem - we left a day early. Paid a deposit and still have not received this back 6 months later. Sent several emails and text messages in regards to this. I would avoid this place!!!! over all the apartments are okay, could do with a refurb, paint work all peeling off and interior not like in the pictures

Enjoyed my stay here very much!
Staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs.
The location is superb, very close to the shopping center and loads of mini markets close by.
The apartment is cosy and clean with all the needed appliances available.

I was dubious on arrival as the buildings kerb appeal was non existent, and if I had not paid I would have turned around. However, on getting into the flat, for the money it was great value, clean and tidy. Lounge kitchen diner was a great size and bathroom looked recently refurbished. Bedroom was large, with double bed and single. Everything in the flat was nice and clean and the location at the top of mowbray park was ideal. Would definitely stay again. My wife and I only stayed the one night but cannot complain as great for the price and free parking right outside

Poor service. Only got unto building as the cleaners were still working. Had to oay another £150 bond to cover for damages, which I knew nothing about.
Roof leaked. Stains on bedding and towels. Resident smoking cannabis.
Toilet loose. Low water pressure and no cooking facilities at all.
Will never use again
