A truly lovely little spot. Stopped her unplanned for lunch and it was a lovely time. Food was reasonably priced for the portion size and staff were cheery and friendly. The problem was it took a little longer than would have liked to be served.

On a sunny spring lunchtime, we went for a walk along Newland Avenue. Out of the many places to stop at The Barista Coffee stood out from the many others. We went in for a coffee and had lunch as well. My wife went for the French toast, and I had Avo on toast. Mine was a generous serving on a slice of sourdough with a garnish of nuts. Both were tasty and good value.
Inside the place was smart, clean and busy. Despite this we had great friendly service from those working there.
Definitely worth a visit when here.

Very dissapointed.
Was nicely surprised when walked in. But when Latte they brought in the glass for juice...... No anything on side, like biscuit. Also cofe was not looking like Latte, please see the picture. No available sugar and not ofered.
Big breakfast.... Presentation on plate not very nice. Tomato... Partly fried or grilled and still partly fresh. Was offered ketchup, peper or "anything" with my breakfast... What is it - anything? As breakfast was not looking very good i do not want "anything" with it. And finaly no one was interested how was the food and service. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE!

Had a lovely morning at the barista cafe today. The food was absolutely perfect and was thoroughly enjoyed by myself. The cafe was a little busy but the two girls working were so kind and helpful and genuinely couldn’t have done more to accommodate us.
I will definitely be returning again and hopefully trying more of the food (and maybe a little bit of cake!)

At 9 am on a Sunday morning, we found Barista to be welcoming & cozy. The staff are really friendly & we’ve never had a poor meal. Top coffee too!

Friendly, quick and good service. Food was great quality. Iced latte is delicious and all very reasonably priced.
Everything is clean and lots of space inside and out.
No fault at all, would definitely eat here again.
