Loved it, came for my sister's birthdays and it was lovely. Busy and bustling, but tables were cleared quickly when people left.
The selection of food was great, all homemade which is what I want when I have afternoon tea and it came with crisps yaaay.
I'm not sure what it is about crisps, but I think they should be on an afternoon tea, they add a nice accompaniment to the sandwiches. A nice balance of sweet and savoury and plenty of tea.
It had a lovely atmosphere too, I will definitely return, thank you.

I have started to go there for a weekly treat of some of the scones they sell.The scones are among the best I've ever tasted and are always soft and of a decent size.The ladies who obviously run the cafe are always really pleasant and nice to chat to as they serve me.Although I haven't used the cafe,the food I see being cooked looks of a high standard and value for money.For the scones alone I would recommend this little treasure of a place tucked away from the masses. Sometimes the best places are the ones you don't know about till you find them.

The Garden Village tearoom is in the old community hall. The tearoom is a nice traditional cafe and cakes are excellent. I came for a wake and the catering was very good lovely sandwiches and savouries. There are several separate rooms, including a large hall, which are used for different clubs and societies. The chess club meets here on Monday evenings.

Been wanting to go here for a long time and glad we finally made it. The afternoon tea was absolutely amazing and the staff was all so lovely and welcoming. Made my mums birthday that little bit more special. We will certainly be back again very soon. Thank you.

Exceptional afternoon tea for only £15 per head, from the freshly made sandwiches, tasty savouries (the sausage rolls were amazing) and delicious cakes and fluffy scones. Service was very friendly too. Will definitely be back. For any new customers they don't accept payment by card.
