Troupers are fantastic! Rhianna the ents manager, Kai, Ellie, Ellie and Brittany all went above and beyond to ensure that my girls had the best experience on their holiday. My 9 month old loved Slothy! All troupers were very interactive, energetic and made our experience personal. Great character shows with the best meet and greets. The girls loved doing the Macarena and YMCA with Narky and Sparky too. Lots of party dances and fun for the whole family. Fabulous evening entertainment to entertain not only the kids but cater for the adults too. Lots of fun activities to do on park during the day and a good variety available. Lovely little beach. Staff are all really lovely and friendly. We love the Isle of Wight and Thorness bay! We can’t wait to return for another holiday to see Rihanna and the team x

We spent a long weekend at Thorness Bay in October, and it was time well spent; the site is well maintained, clean and accessible. We (a family of 4) found the caravan to be clean, tidy and suited our needs for 3 nights, containing all of the necessary features needed to relax and unwind, whilst also providing a base from which we could move out from. The site is nestled amongst trees and provided the perfect setting to unwind in. The arcade provided the chance for children (big and small) to win tickets without feeling overwhelming, and the range of activities helped keep everyone entertained:||The water walkers in the pool provided challenge and value for money, and the lifeguards then allowed children extra time in the pool (with slide use) prior to the next session, making my children feel like VIPs.||The Halloween party was great fun for children, was well organised and helped provide a holiday highlight, thanks in turn to the entertainers; Kai, Ellie and Ruby (apologies if I got names wrong) put in a tremendous shift, providing entertainment morning, noon and night; the range of entertainment within the showbar from 5:30pm helped provide something to come back to each day and made the evenings fly by. I was amazed by how much entertainment can be crammed into one evening in one venue, and came away feeling thoroughly entertained. ||From the amazing team based in reception (Hannah and Kelly), to the pesonable staff in chippery (highly recommended) and scoops ice cream stall, I felt valued and at ease when engaging with all members of the parkdean team.||The only gripe, however minor, is the lack of variety for food and drinks on the last night, but this is to be expected when we book at the end of the season. We will be booking again for a week in the summer holidays, and can't wait to see what Thorness throws our way peak season.

We went for a long weekend break and had a great time. The site has all the facilities you could need including a shop, chippy and clubhouse. It is 5 minutes from the beach and has lovely walks for the dog. One thing I would like to mention was the van itself. We have stayed in other places where the "dog van" is just that. An older van that has seen out it's best days and is usually smelly and feels grubby. This was the opposite completely. The van was very clean and smelled fresh, no greasy seats or worn out cushions. It was well equipped and a pleasure to stay in. Hats off to the team that looks after them!

The service received at Thorness whilst on our stay was exceptional! I will definitely be rebooking to go again. Not only the service but the entertainment by all the entertainers were great my kids were certainly amazed. |The fish and chip shop was also a great hit and not as pricey which made some of our meals cheaper.

What a weekend! From booking this trip away, with special thanks to Hannah and Kelly, we’ve can’t praise the staff and facilities at Thorness enough. We stayed in a clean, extremely well equipped caravan- x2 adults, x2 children. |We used the chip shop on site which provided reasonably priced food with a variety of choice- also helpful you could take it into the entertainment venue! |The entertainment itself was amazing, a great time was had in the pool and Kai, Ellie and the team put in an amazing amount of time and effort in and the whole family (and the friends we went with) had an amazing time and we all hope to book again for the summer. |My only niggle was being close to the end of the season some stock was running a little low but the atmosphere and beautiful surroundings more than made up for this.

This was our first time visiting a parkdean resort. We stayed on a touring pitch in August 2024 and would not return and neither would we recommend this location.

On arrival we were put on a hard standing pitch made up of dirty and dusty road planing's, the receptionist was very kind and allowed us to choose another pitch from those available.

The toilet block was one of the dirtiest and most run down we have ever seen on a corporate campsite. During our stay we only witnessed these being cleaned once with the individual using 1 sponge on walls mirrors taps and work tops, needless to say we did not use these facilities.

The main building and restaurant felt run down and the toilets were not much better than the shower block.

We did manage to get in the swimming pool for one session and our children did enjoy the slide. Wasn't the cleanest and showering after the swim was pitiful with water leaking out everywhere other than the shower head on both showers.

We decided to have pizza for lunch to find blue plastic within the toppings of one of our pizzas, we did have another one made up by the team but do not feel the seriousness of the issue was recognised by any of the staff.

As you can imagine from everything detailed above we were not disappointed when it came to the day to leave. Very disappointed with our stay and certainly feel we were ripped off paying way over the odds for a campsite in such a poor condition. Whilst other parkdean resorts may be better, we will not be booking any to find out.

Fantastic holiday! Great accommodation, lovely venue, friendly staff. Kids loved the Krazy crew entertainment. Only minor snag was that the venue started running out of beer but this was due to it being the last week of the season. This was our 2nd trip to Thorness and would definitely return again

Absolutely shocking. My car became damaged outside the accomodation and the site are claiming it was not caused by the pitch itself. The park team claimed it had just been resurfaced. It hadn’t. Then I made a complaint to the head office. Of which the out of hours security team on site said that that wasn’t a parking space. When I complained. They said that the damage wasn’t caused by the space outside the accommodation. Complained and they said it basically “wasn’t their problem”

Update: I have been offered 20% off my next holiday. What a cheek considering I am never staying with Parkdean resorts again.
