This is my second time staying here and I have to say, it’s a wonderful place to stay while visiting Cheltenham. I’d like to point out though the amazing restaurant within the hotel and its fabulous food!! This visit had me staying for 6 nights. The first two nights of my stay the restaurant was closed (Sunday and Monday) but come Tuesday, I ordered the trout and fell instantly in love. The food is consistently good. If you haven’t already tried this little gem of a restaurant you absolutely should. I’ll be back.. just hoping the trout will be on the menu!!

Last minute decision to have a night away in Cheltenham.. very lucky to have chosen this gem.. beautiful building and interiors complemented by a wonderful welcome, lovely staff and a complimentary upgrade as we booked direct! Wonderful room with all the extras we love.. fabulous breakfast and only 10 minute walk to town and parking! Fabulous.. we will be back!

What a well run hotel this is! The staff were so helpful and our room was beautiful - so comfortable and well equipped. The bed and pillows were lush and the bathroom superb. There were many luxurious and thoughtful touches including good teas and coffee. Breakfast was fresh and gorgeous and kindly served. We were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave and will certainly return.

The building is beautiful, the parking was straight forward. The welcome was odd, I found myself interrogated in a small closest under the stairs while the seated receptionist demanded payment before anything else, a "good afternoon etc" would have been better received. The room had lovely high ceilings and was over decorated, could do with a good clean out of the fake flowers etc. I get annoyed at hotels that do not offer a clean clear bedside table, a luggage rack and adequate room for your toiletries/make up bag in the bathroom. The bathroom was very large and had dual showers. ||The bed was lovely, very clean, fresh, lots of decadent pillows and a great nights sleep. The towels smelt nice and were of a good quality. The shower worked well but the overly large crapper wooden toilet seat did not sit well with me, it was awkward to use and did not seem sanitary, I am sure it was clean, just ick. ||The communal areas were very nice and gave a sense of grandeur, the only down side was there was no where to sit and work for a bit, there was 2 small tables right next to the bar. But given our room was so large there was no space to sit other than the bed, because of the huge (in need of refurbishment due to chips in the enamel) bath and oversized wardrobe and other furniture cluttering up the room.||Breakfast was of an excellent quality and the staff other than check in were helpful and efficient. Due to the cost value ratio I would not stay here again I do not feel I received a boutique hotel experience.

From the moment you walk in the front door , you know you are in a really lovely boutique hotel. Room was spacious with a big super comfortable bed with very fluffy pillows. We had complimentary tiffin and mead. Parking wasn’t a problem even when you couldn’t park at the front of the hotel as the zone 10 parking was covered in the price and very close by. Super quiet comfortable stay. Would stay again.

We had a lovely dinner out. Food was good and our waitress Jenny was very nice.

There was a bit of a wait for food and drinks which was frustrating as there were only 3 tables in that evening! Jenny was the only waitress covering the restaurant and bar so definitely wasn’t her fault. More staff would have made the experience better.

We spent 2 nights in the outstanding room with our little doggy. Everything was great from the food to the staff who are absolutely lovely. The room was beautiful, we struggled to leave the bed! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who likes a dog friendly hotel with a bit of luxury, we will be back! Thanks so much!

We had the most wonderful stay at No. 38 The Park. Exceptional hospitality and warmth from everyone and the room was delightful. From the deep soaking tub to the finest linens, the staff had everything covered to make our stay romantic and memorable. They even had a gorgeous set up for our four legged Jack Russel terrier.|We will look forward to a future visit and can recommend this establishment without hesitation!|Thank you!
