Lovely cafe, today we went in for pancakes they made my nephew cute little bear shapes for his and I had bacon and maple syrup bith of which were delicious. The coffee was lovely and all of the tables have classic games on such as chess and draughts which passed the time. They have quite of toys for children, my nephew especially loved the giant outdoor chess. The staff were nice and friendly, really welcoming to both of us. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return

Lovely spacious café with very nice cakes (the vegan chocolate orange cake was delicious). There are board games like draughts, a giant chess set outdoors, which my kid loved, and a playroom for younger children. The staff are very friendly and the service good.

Good food and service. The place had a really nice atmosphere with a great selection on the menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming when we visited with the kids. Inside and outside seating with lovely children's play areas which our little ones really liked. Would recommend and will be returning

Very impressed with The Phoenix Cafe! Party of 8 for a family get-together. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, quality food served quickly and very affordable prices.
The children's area with sensory toys is a great idea, kept my two young nephews entertained throughout our visit. Only wish the wind wasn't blowing 45mph so we could have played with the giant chess board outside! Will be visiting again 👍

We arrived at 11.30 and ordered a breakfast.
We are still waiting for it 50 mins later.
After 20 mins had to request our drinks after being told they would be with us.
Another tables order came out before ours as well,
We did get a mumbled apology.
Had I not paid up front I would have walked out.
Not good customer service at all!
