Beautiful old Hotel in the heart of Cheltenham. Combining old world charm with modern facilities it has a relaxing unrushed feel to it. The staff are welcoming and friendly, making you feel you are in safe hands. The location is superb with excellent car park facilities that include very good electric car charging, up to 22 kW for cars that can accept, which is a step up from what is usually elsewhere. Would like to see more than just the one point that can only charge 2 cars. Bedrooms are well appointed. The public areas are particularly attractive. There is a lounge area with a real fire place, very welcome sight during the current cold snap. Bar area is comfortable and inviting but the star is the restaurant. Split in two, the extension area has the high ceilings, that are a marker for the Hotels architecture, beautifully decorated and with an outside area that will be a welcome addition to summer dining. A small menu but very well executed. Special mention for Jack on reception, who couldn't of been more accommodating when we had a slight blip with our room, adroitly dealt with. Highly recommended.

My first time to Cheltenham and couldn’t have picked a better spot…beautiful hotel and a warm welcome from the lady and gentleman on reception..very personable and lovely! Great room, clean, lovely bed, central location & a lovely quiet hotel. Stayed here in January so I’m sure it will be a busier one on Cheltenham races but nonetheless I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else now. Well done Queens Hotel ❤️

Lovely hotel and staff, I could write a full review but I think all that is needed is to say that this hotel is lovely, clean rooms love breakfast. Bar man was really nice and excellent customer service offering table service and excellent drink making. Room was nice size and very well cleaned. The whole hotel was very clean. I would recommend and definitely stay again.

It was a great experience overall. First time at the Queen's Hotel. The service was impeccable and the experience amazing from start to end. The hotel has an amazing old beauty. The room was very comfortable and had all modern facility and a very comfortable large bed. The breakfast was excellent and changes daily. The staff was friendly and professional. The location a few minutes away from the center and close to many restaurants and bar was perfect. First time in Cheltenham and I would highly recommend a visit and a stay if going to the Cotswold and of course we would definitely come again. Thanks for the great experience.

For the 15th consecutive year I am very happy to give the whole of the Queen's hotel team another big thank you for an outstanding Christmas stay.||Every year I leave thinking that it can't possibly be better, but somehow every year it is. We loved it. Every one of the staff who we met were so kind, friendly, helpful and efficient. We so appreciate the smiles, the willingness to take photos in front of the tree (our tradition!) and the chat. ||The meals were delicious, beautifully presented and served hot. How you do that on a day with 170 diners I have no idea but kudos to your kitchen team and servers, not only on Christmas day of course but over the whole 3 days.||The rooms are kept pristine and very comfortable.||It's also lovely to see so many familiar faces both amongst the staff and the guests - surely testament to Queen's being a good place to work and as a guest a wonderful place to spend such a special time of the year.||I hope we did show our appreciation to the members of staff who we saw and whose names we noted - Ross, Hannah, Ishmael, Ben, Nathan, Yulia, Phoebe, Jack, AJ, Carin - but of course there are many more working very hard behind the scenes who did not have the pleasure of meeting. So please do pass on our thanks and appreciation to everyone at Queens and we look forward to seeing you again next Christmas if not before.

Excellent location and a lovely clean room. Very disappointing breakfast I expected more at £20 each we were left waiting shown to table eventually and just left there not offered a drink and not even advised what would happen next, the staff were so unhelpful and miserable, the cooked breakfast certainly wasn't local produce had no flavour. I recommend the hotel but I don't recommend the breakfast

Everything was perfect from the moment we checked in. We were welcomed by Jack at reception, who was super friendly and very helpful giving us information about the area and what to do.|We spent 2 nights here and our bedroom was spotless! Super clean, very spacious, and our bed was so comfortable. We also went to the restaurant both nights and the food was simply amazing. A special thank you goes to Nathan who looked after us both nights and was very professional.|We will definitely go back! Thank you

A New Year’s Eve break for family. Comfortable bed, superb afternoon tea, good options for breakfast but what makes this hotel a great stay are the lovely staff who are Friendly and nothing is too much trouble- we will definitely return. Lovely atmosphere
