Lovely place for fish & chips. A little pricey, but actually good value for the quality you get. Service was very good though, they changed things about no problem and everything was done with a smile. I particularly liked the descriptions for all the food, very funny and tongue in cheek!

The chips are perfect with a good mix of fat and fluffy and thin and crispy. This all with an amazing curry sauce

If you can I would advise you sit in the restaurant they do a transcendent burger and the wait staff are fabulously great at making you feel welcomed

Service was fast but prices seemed quite high. Although this is understandable with inflation, it doesn't make up for low quality food. Fish+chips were soggy and whitebait was so fishy it was inedible. Would not recommend.

Seriously disappointed. From going from a 5 star chippy when I first moved to cowes few years ago to literally something I wouldn't buy my worst enemy.

Ordered cheesy chips, stone cold in places and luke warm in others, the curry sauce tasted like gravy and had unmixed powder in there and cost me just under a 10ner for the privilege for a medium cheesy chips and curry sauce.

How can management be happy with this?

Save yourselves the trouble and drive to newport for a decent chippy. This place quite clearly couldn't give a monkeys anymore. I wouldnt mind the price if the food was good, but it for sure...was not.

What a wonderful experience.
The server was very helpful, even when we had a small issue.
The food was delicious. Scampi just melted in my mouth and it was all reasonably priced, far cheaper than I was expecting. Clean plates all round.
A lovely location with pleasant patrons.
100/10 would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cowes.

Me and my wife purchased a medium cod, medium chips, a battered sausage and a pea fritter. The cod literally fell apart because of the soggy batter and the chips were rather sub par. The battered sausage however was tasty. Should not have the price tag it does for the quality.
