We were welcomed by a very friendly and chatty receptionist. Very helpful and spoke with all 3 of us including our 7 year old daughter. ||Customer service is so important to us and each member of staff we encountered provided us with amazing customer service. ||We had an issue with breakfast, but I have contacted Beefeater separately regarding that. ||When we returned to the hotel, the morning receptionist was again super friendly and helpful. Although she couldn’t help with the issues, she did give us advice and sympathised with the issues we had experienced. ||The hotel is in a great location for us, free parking is a massive bonus, and next time we will remember to book a room overlooking the river! ||We have family on the Island so we will definitely be returning to this hotel. ||Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a great one!

It's not in the first flush of youth any more, but the location by the river Medina is superb. Lying in bed and watching a mast drifting past the window takes some beating. Lovely staff. Excellent heating (needed in February!).

Just had a fabulous 4 day short break at the premier inn in Newport on the Isle of Wight! Outstanding customer service, a warm welcome and a beautifully clean room. My mum has COPD so we were kindly allocated a ground floor room near reception as she can’t walk far. A gorgeous view of the river and the breakfasts were superb! Best night sleep ever! Coming over again at Christmas 🎄

Lovely stay! Room was really clean and had everything I needed. Only a short walk to the main town area which was great. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking which is free. Would definitely stay here again when I'm next on the island for business

I picked this premier inn as it had parking on site and a Beefeater. It was also in walking distance of Quay Arts centre that we were visiting Saturday evening. The reception team was helpful by booking my meal deal slot and breakfast. Friendly staff. Very clean site. Lovely room.

The staff we met were pleasant and helpful and with outside temperatures close to zero the lack of air conditioning was not a problem in our room. This is the only hotel we've stayed at where you need to request cleaning day by day but during our short stay we didn't bother. The reason was that there was no safe in the room nor were there any cupboard fronts or drawers. In consequence everything we had was in the open, on the desk or in open cupboards. ||For two, there was only one chair so we sat up on the bed to watch tv. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no decaf tea or decaf coffee although decaf coffee and semi skimmed milk individual pots were available to collect from reception. There was no loo brush in the bathroom. Other Premier Inns that we've stayed at had larger beds. The 4G signal in the hotel was weak but there was free WiFi which generally sufficed. For extra cost we could have had stronger WiFi but didn't need it.||The hotel does have a small car park which during the evenings was full as it also serves the adjacent Beefeater. If you arrive back during the evening you may need to find somewhere else to park.||We stayed at this hotel because of its easy walk into town.||The best thing about the room was the view out over the river.

Wonderful Premier Inn, we always stay with our children over the festive period while seeing family and this hotel never disappoints. Great location free parking. rooms are always clean and service is topnotch, the Christmas cards and children's selection box on the doors on Christmas Day was the icing on the cake and just reinforce why we always stay here thank you
