I can’t begin to say just how awesome this wonderful pub/b&b was for our trip! We stayed 3 nights, it was supposed to be 2 but the service, food, rooms were so amazing we extended our stay. The staff was top notch, kind, helpful, always went above and beyond. We commuted to London every day bc I did not want to stay in the city proper. Boy was that the best decision ever! London is super busy and we were able to have the most amazing dinner every evening at the Inn. Thank you for your kindness! We will be back!

Pleasantly surprised! Very nice rooms and facilities that well exceeded expectations for pub accommodation. Breakfast was really good and coffee very well made (and I’m a coffee snob). Staff were lovely, particularly the manager. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. Room 1’s walls with the pub are pretty thin, so expect a fair bit of noise until 11pm. Free onsite parking. Otherwise a great stay.

We stayed here recently and would highly recommend. Gorgeous comfortable room. We had a fantastic meal from the new menu. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Booked 3rd stay here, what a nightmare, never staying here again. Christmas party going on until 11pm. Music so loud whole room is vibrating. If we'd known wouldn't have booked. £200 for a nightmare. Ask re party nights before u book
Edit, in the morning the manager was very apologetic and understanding and waived the cost. I'm not a party pooper but had been up since 5.30 after a long drive which I am driving again today. Staff are lovely, beds comfy and food great

Loved this place! The staff were very welcoming, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and everything was very clean and well decorated. The breakfast was very nice too. Cranleigh is an interesting little town with numerous individual shops to explore.

A lovely stay at the Richard Onslow . We stayed one night midweek and could not fault this place . From arrival we were able to park our car securely at the back of the premises . We were greeted with a warm and friendly host , who kindly upgraded our room and provided us with information . The hotel room was lovely , clean and the bed was extremely comfortable . We had already eaten on arrival but after a walk around the village we had a lovely early evening sat in the beer garden at the back of the premises . Nice little area , undercover with little lights and heaters . The following morning we had a first class full English in the lovely little restaurant area. All staff that we met throughout our stay were lovely , very friendly and nothing too much trouble . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here or if your in the area stop in for a meal as the food we had was excellent and all meals served in the evening looked delicious and there were many happy people . Thank you for a lovely stay , we will be back .

Lovely, characterful hotel and super food. My second stay and I was looking forward to my roast dinner the whole journey.||Would be even better if the restaurant stayed open a little later, but on the plus side the pub closes early which is good if you need an early night.

I always found my experiences at The Richard Onslow very pleasant. Staff are very helpful and friendly.Cosy feel when the log fire is on.I have never stayed in a room at The Richard Onslow. If it's anything like its pub and restaurant,five stars then that's a bonus.
