We were attending a Golden Wedding at Random Hall. Unfortunately all the rooms there were already booked and so we stayed at ‘Magpies’ as it was next door.|We have just arrived home from this wonderful B&B. Our stay was first class from start to finish. The owners Jane and Kevin couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a memorable stay. This B&B has some extra little touches including a small decanter of sherry in your room. |We were given a very comfortable bed adorned with fresh white linen, a beautifully cooked breakfast with a fabulous view and we would most definitely recommend this gem of a place.

Host was flexible with check in time. We loved "Fidget" the Springer Spaniel. Jane and Kevin were very hospitable and chatty. The room was glorious, a Garden room with beautiful views. Lots of generous and thoughtful additions in thr room. Attention to detail and very caring in the layout. We could sit in the garden and sit by the swimming pool. The grounds are beautiful. The home and breakfast were exquisite, even the crockery and silverware were stunning.

Magpies Lodge was SUCH a find. Jane, Kevin and Fidget were so welcoming. Both rooms (I was attending a wedding with friends) were very tastefully decorated, absolutely spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful. Jane was so lovely. When we came in around 9:30pm Jane made us all tea!!! The breakfast the next morning was outstanding. I cannot fault it and highly recommend.

I spent 3 nights at Magpies while working in the area. My room was superb with an extremely comfortable bed and everything you could need. The room along with the bathroom were spotlessly clean and had a great homely feel. The hosts Jane & Kevin were welcoming and really friendly along with their two dogs. Breakfasts on each day were cooked fresh and were of the highest standard. I will definitely look to stay again if I have to work in the area again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Staying at Pear Tree lodge. The room was beautiful and had a courtyard overlooking fields, where we spent a lot of time drinking wine and playing cards. They also had a shared swimming pool which was very relaxing. We also met some of the owners family and who were lovely to talk too. Jane shares her home with 2 beautiful spaniels who are adorable and perfectly behaved.
. This was one of the reasons why we picked this accomodation. Breakfast was delicious but please save your bacon ends for my two furry friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I stayed here for one night with my sister. We received a warm welcome from the 2 gorgeous dogs, and of course the owner, Jane!|Our room was exceptionally clean and had wonderful views across the countryside. |The bathroom was large with a large walk-in shower and lovely ,fluffy, white towels. |There is a fabulous swimming pool for guests to use and you really do feel like you are out in the countryside, it’s so peaceful!|Breakfast was superb, with high quality coffee.|Thank you Jane & Kevin. We can’t wait to stay again!

My room was large and charmingly decorated, with a comfortable sofa and a delightful little desk perfect for all of my electronic devices. Wifi worked beautifully. The en-suite bathroom contained a delightful shower with reasonable water pressure, and a heated towel rack which was excellent for my hand-washed socks. Breakfast was enormous and delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the companionship of the resident English Springer Spaniels who were both expert beggars, thwarted by me. My hostess was friendly and helpful, and her recommendations for dinner at nearby pubs were spot on. This is a really choice B & B with a splendid location.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It was so good last time we came back!||Lovely room with all the facilities we needed and a large, warm, extremely comfortable bed.||Jane and Kevin were very welcoming and the dogs were friendly and enjoyed a stroke if you were interested in dogs, or missing your own!||‘Proper coffee’, fresh milk and a fridge as well as a glass of sherry each night were super touches. Good choice for breakfast which included a nice selection of fresh fruit.||We will definitely stay again when we come to Horsham to visit our friends ||[Although they didn’t do evening meals they were perfectly happy for you to get a takeaway and eat in the dining room., which was a nice touch]
