We had the best 2 night stay, it was very relaxing. Breakfast was lovely and served a time that was suitable to our stay. |The rooms were clean, and the beds where very comfortable, and spacious. The area is beautiful close to the beach which was lovely to walk down to not to far. |We all were made to feel so welcomed and so friendly. |We took a drive to Gosport and parked all day to take the ferry to go shopping for the day, at Gunwharf Quays. |I definitely will be back again, I can't wait it was all very perfect. Myself and my husband and two friends had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at Willow Cottage recently. The rooms are very well appointed with good showers (the larger one even had plates and a microwave) and if you're a fan of the Arts and Crafts period there are some delightful architectural details. Debbie and Trevor are friendly and interesting people who take an interest in their guests. Debbie prepares and cooks amazing breakfasts and nothing is too much trouble. There's plenty of parking space and the area is residential and quiet. The shore at Hillhead is a few minutes walk away and there is a pub and a convenience store in the other direction. Heartily recommended.

On entering the house, we were amazed with the lovely decoration. Pictures, ornaments, beautifully arranged throughout the house. We received a very warm welcome from Debbie, with a pot of tea. |Excellent accommodation, clean soft bed, great ensuite, with all extra toiletries, if needed. Plenty of complimentary extras to drink and nibble. Rooms serviced everyday, tea , coffee, snacks replenished .|Debbie and Trevor are so lovely and friendly. Ideal hosts, nothing was too much trouble.|Brilliant breakfasts, great spread and choice, freshly cooked by Debbie. Never be slim.|Great location, good parking. If you are looking for genuine warm hospitality and an amazingly well presented and comfortable room, then Willow Cottage is your first choice. The location was handy, halfway between London and the West Country and from the moment we arrived we were spoiled. Debbie is the perfect host and has a beautiful way with people. We were so lucky to find this B&B and it offered a spacious and comfortable family room for the three of us.

The provision of drinks and snacks was way above the expected and essentially 'happy hour' awaited you.

The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a B&B and Debbie not only has chef's credentials, she's generous with it!

We loved every minute of our stay and can only give our highest recommendation. Debbie, thank you for making our stay such a delight.

What an amazing couple of hosts Debbie & Trevor. From the moment we arrived (actually even while booking) nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms were meticulously clean, fresh towels daily, a very generous supply of free snacks, drinks and toiletries.
The breakfast was an incredible array of anything and everything you need, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cooked meals just wow.
What I especially loved were the toys and baby food supplied for our 1 year old grand daughter. The family room is huge, even with the cot included.
It's in a great quiet spot near the Hill Head beach (2 minutes walk). Probably should have walked more given the breakfasts!!!
Nothing is too much trouble for Debbie, she is the perfect host. Thank you so much for our stay, we loved it.

Wow 👏 just a perfect stay. From the initial greeting, the lovely kind touches - hot water bottle left in bed for my father, beautiful bedrooms, and delicious breakfast. Our stay could not have been any better.

We have adored our stay here being hosted by the amazing Debbie & Trevor. They are lovely, friendly & so very helpful with all aspects of your visit, including transport & Portsmouth itself. We enjoyed the spacious Family room on the first floor. It is kept incredibly clean & neat throughout the stay & was very comfortable for just the two of us. It is the little touches however that make staying here so wonderful. There is a complementary snack station, continuously topped up with fresh fruit, crisps & drinks as well as a kettle & toaster. Amenities in the bathroom including toothpaste, toothbrush & hot water bottles makes your stay feel even more personal & inviting. The location, with ample off street parking, is very quiet & close to the sea. In fact this suburban location is much nicer than the hustle & bustle of a city stay, especially if you have a car. There's an 18min drive to Gosport with short & long term carparks then a 4 minute pedestrian ferry to Portsmouth itself. There's also a park & ride nearby. From booking to departure everything about your stay is thoughtfully considered by wonderful hosts who really have created a travellers paradise near the sea.
