Stopped here for an impromptu cuppa en route elsewhere. I'm not an upper class snob so I expected a greasy spoon and that's exactly what I got.

The building is very much beat down, with the signage missing on the front and the toilets held together with gaffer tape. The eating area was dirty and full of cobwebs which is a real shame as I felt like they're trying their best.

The lady on the till was curt and clearly frustrated and it soon became clear that the coffee machine requires some percussive maintenance to produce the product.

We elected not to eat here but from what I saw it's a truckers favorite. The meals looked hot enough to me but given the aforementioned gaffer tape and cobwebs we decided not to risk it.

The thing with this place is that it could be a gold mine given a clean and a lick of paint. That's all it really needs - well maybe a new coffee machine too. But with just those small improvements it could well be a nice alternative to BK, Mc D, Subway.

Stop here on our way home to Bolton from great Yarmouth great half way stop good food not expensive and friendly staff There are toilets but you gotta buy something or it's a quid to use and it's cash only
