Joanne provided a delicious afternoon tea for my wife's 50th birthday celebrations. She was friendly, helpful and responsive in organising the event, set up the table beautifully and the food was absolutely first class. There was plenty for everyone to eat. The vintage china and tablecloths really set the tone. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous day we had at Cook and Saucer with lovely host, Jo. A full day of excellent cookery demonstrations, delicious food to try as Jo cooked and a very delicious lunch. I was very pleased to receive it as a gift and would definitely like to return. We both learnt a great deal including some handy hints and tips from Jo. The food she cooked was so tasty and she went through each step very clearly. The whole day was really enjoyable, meeting new people and extending our recipe books and cooking knowledge. Thank you very much Jo - a five star day!

We asked Jo and the Cook and Saucer team to help with our daughter's 18th birthday dinner party. From start to finish, nothing was too much problem and all her attention to detail and understanding of what we wanted was just wonderful. On the night, Jo worked calmly and with a smile throughout the whole event and left us clean and tidy. The food was excellent - from canapes to main course dinner, right through to cheese board and coffee. Thank you Jo, Gemma and Emily for all your hard work - I would highly recommend Cook and Saucer to anyone.

Absolutely brilliant cookery demonstration with lunch today and food was delicious, a very enjoyable day. I learnt quite a few new ideas and easy techniques and the host Jo was so interesting and welcoming, great fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for new ideas, would make an excellent gift or a lovely day out with a friend. You can also hire vintage china if you are entertaining at home. Jo is also doing Christmas Baking Bundles, take the stress out of baking for Christmas, check out the website for details. Many thanks and will definitely be back again next year.

I was celebrating a lockdown big birthday and obviously unable to eat out. Jo provided what I consider to be the BEST meal I have ever eaten! Slow roast pork belly - absolute perfection - thin, crispy crackling and tender, juicy pork; the chocolate praline dessert was fabulous. I could eat it every day and not tire of it. Nothing was too much trouble and as we live quite close Jo delivered it piping hot and ready to eat.

I absolutely cannot recommend her highly enough; exceptional quality for a excellent price - my first choice for all future events. Thank you Jo a brilliant meal. Fiona

I attended one of Jo’s cookery demonstrations with lunch and had a really enjoyable time. The explanations were clear, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming! I would thoroughly recommend for a pleasant afternoon out!

Jo has also provided me with a ‘take-away’ Afternoon Tea during the lockdown, supplied with the vintage crockery to use, so I could deliver to my mum for a ‘remote’ 70th Birthday celebration. Again, the selection and quality of food was excellent and it was thoroughly enjoyed.

Ready Meals: In our house we take turns to cook each week - my husband decided to cheat and buy a week's worth of Cook and Saucer Ready Meals - we were so pleased he did as they were delicious. Proper wholesome home cooked food, super easy to prepare, good sized portions with quality ingredients and really tasty. Our favourites were 'Pork, Leek and Mustard' and 'Steak and Ale Pie'

We had a three course Valentine meal from Jo which we started on Saturday evening but had to have puds on Sunday, we were so full!. The meal was absolutely outstanding! We haven’t had anything this good for a very long time and we cannot thank Jo enough for providing us with something so delicious for this lovely occasion. Without doubt, we will be back......... and not too far in the future we hope😁
