We had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here whilst visiting relative in the area. The service supplied was top class. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a host of extras thrown in. Plus location is very close to the sea. Val and Anne made us feel at home and we were treated like family members. As others have mentioned, breakfast was excellent and will set you up for the day. Family input will get you to whatever attraction you are looking for in the area, local knowledge of shops and services is very helpful. All in all, can't fault West winds and hopefully will use as a base again

We stayed at the West Wind Guest House on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th March 2017. I had stayed there in 2011 so hoped that it would still be as good. It certainly did not disappoint! This is a lovely, homely guest house, literally just around the corner from the sea front (in fact our room - room 4 - had a sea view.) The room contained everything one would wish for and was spotlessly clean. There was a very good selection at breakfast, and Val and her sister Gill were most welcoming and friendly. All in all I would heartily recommend it!

Excellent hotel, has everything you need. They've thought of everything, from herbal teas in the room to a wide selection of choice for breakfast! Shower was good, bed was comfortable, room was spacious breakfast was delicious and the price was very reasonable. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome even with a baby! I'm very pleased we stayed here. Will definitely come again, thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for a night as we had a party to attend in the area. The check in was really easy and we were happily surprised at how close it was to the sea. Excellent guesthouse. Lovely location and rooms are small but clean and everything you need for one or a couple of nights. We booked this guesthouse last minute the owners were very welcoming and extremely approachable. Breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Recommended to us by a family member this Guest House did not disappoint! We stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable room with en suite bathroom and all of the facilities you would expect to find in more expensive establishments. The breakfasts were outstanding with friendly personal service from Richard and Val and we would not hesitate to stay here on future visits to the area.

We needed accomodation in the Titchfield area, and relatives found the West Wind for us. Glad they did.|Val and, later, Richard were very friendly and helpful. Val especially showed a genuine interest in her guests.|Breakfasts were ample to keep anyone satisfied.|Rooms were clean and tidy, even if the bathroom, as with many BnB's was a tad small. Beds were comfortable.|The only warning is some road noise can be heard at times if you, like ourselves, like to have a window open on warmer nights and you are in a front room.|Close to shops, 5 minute walk, in several directions. Plus the beach is across the road.

The rooms are very pleasant clean and comfortable, a very good hostess tray, many more toiletries than many hotels offer and a superb choice of breakfast, which is well presented.||Val and Gill along with their spouses offer a superb service not to be missed if staying in the area.
