Philip and Daphne are wonderful hosts and have three rooms in their homes for guests. They are warm and welcoming while also upholding high standards for hospitality and accommodation. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Those who are accustomed to a larger sleeping space may find the double beds a bit small for two. The bathrooms are recently renovated and the rooms clean and nicely furnished. The house itself is a delightful cottage in the woods with quick access to town. We will definitely return.

Phil and Daphne kindly hosted my aged parents for 2 nights over Christmas in their beautiful home. They were extremely comfortable in their room with views over the rolling Surrey hills. Having stayed about 7 years ago, P & D greeted them like long lost friends and did everything to make them comfortable.||||Mum and Dad spent much of the time with us but Phil and Daphne accommodated their comings and goings with charm and seasonal bonhomie. My wife and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Phil & Daphne were lovely host’s. The room was lovely, very comfortable, very clean, beautiful en-suite. The breakfast was fantastic. We would recommend Little Gables to anyone travelling or wanting to stay in the Surrey area.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation hosted by an amazing couple who really understand the art of hosting and taking care of guests. The local views had horses, deer and various birds, whilst the local trails were enjoyable to walk. The rooms had everything you needed with lots of thoughtful touches and comforts, and the breakfast was definitely the best I've had in all the places I've stayed over the years! The whole experience was fabulous and as this stay was for a special birthday, this experience made it all the more special. Thank you!

A friend and I stayed at Phillip and Daphne’s bed and breakfast and had a lovely time. They are very friendly hosts, keen and able to make sure guests are comfortable and well looked after. All areas are spotlessly clean, the breakfasts are delicious and varied and there are extra touches to make the visitor experience a great one.

We were travelling back to a pretty little Surrey village where we had lived for many years to attend a 60th birthday party and rather than stay with friends (so that we could be more independent) we decided to book into Little Gables where our hosts treated us as their honoured house guests. We’d always known about this B&B when we lived nearby .... and now as visitors from afar we tried it out as guests. The first thing you notice is the early evening birdsong, the wonderful smell of freshly cut grass and the feeling of a small hamlet settling down for the night. We borrowed a torch and keys, and set off for the party. We arrived back late and crept back into our room quite late but the hosts had kindly left hall lamps on much appreciated. The bed was very welcome and comfy. A delicious cooked breakfast with eggs from ‘up the lane’ set us up for the day as we slowly resurfaced on a quiet Sunday morning. Newspapers and lovely fellow guests made this an added bonus to a one night stay. Next time we’ll stay longer and revisit local walks on the common and through the woods. You’ll wake up to the sounds of birdsong, owls hooting and I believe a peacock who let us know that breakfast was approaching. Two black cats were corralled in another part of the property after I’d mentioned my husband was allergic, so we had a lovely stress free stay. We’ll certainly be back.

Super place in a glorious setting. So relaxing. Philip and Daphne the perfect hosts. Great breakfasts from the best ingredients. The village pubs both served us excellent meals. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Coming to this a bit late for various reasons, but I just have to offer another rave short review after spending the first night of a recent trip to the UK at Little Gables enjoying Phil & Daphne's perfect hospitality. I just love this place, and the views from the house and my favourite room, Boleyn, are also worth coming back for, stag and all!
