Excellent Sunday lunch today. Delicious food at a fair price. Nearest roast to home cooked one I've ever had. All veg cooked perfectly and lots of it, the lamb melted in the mouth. Puddings sounded lovely but too full to have one. Friend had gooseberry one and let us all have a taste.Certainly be back again, thankyou x

Lovely little place, in centre of town with parking. Clean comfortable rooms with tv, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge. Nice clean modern bathroom. helpful and friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you. Food very good and would deffo stay again if in the area.

Booked in for the night for a family event in the town. Was greeted by friendly staff and showed to my room. VERY impressed. The room was clean and tidy and of high standards. Plenty of teas and coffees. Plenty of milks! Always a bonus! The bed was comfy. There’s a road directly under my window but hardly any noise soo all good. The en-suite was incredible. Really well built sleek and clean. Nothing to fault at all. Plenty of options for breakfast the full English was delicious. I Would definitely book and stay here again.

Passing through Sleaford today thought we would try the Mallards for lunch. Husband had Gammon, Egg, chips and it came with a side of peas and mushrooms, the Gammon was a good size, well cooked and very tasty, I chose the cheese and onion quiche with salad and new potatoes. What a salad!!, it was huge, a good slice of quiche, it was absolutely delicious. All food prepared and cooked fresh and the staff were really friendly, well worth a visit

What a really great place. Close to town, plenty of parking, great breakfast, nothing is too much trouble, immaculately clean and tidy, and was looked after by Claire (great host). Stayed in a single room that was perfectly sized with lovely bathroom en-suite. The location was very quiet. Perfect!

Nice cosy clean and tidy room, clean and tidy bathroom, the breakfasts were 10 out of 10, really nice friendly staff. The parking was public parking, but The Mallard payed for the first hour on both days, the parking was free from 6pm to 9am, the only small complaint was the mattress was to firm for me, I know they can’t cater for everyone’s preference in mattress. Would definitely stop again if out that way again

Our 2nd visit to this Bed and Breakfast. Both times it has been great. Lovely clean room, breakfast was excellent and made fresh to order. Good location close to town centre and train station. Claire and staff very pleasant and welcoming.
