Sitting by the cozy fire in December while reading a novel is a great memory from here. Friendly people, comfortable rooms, good food. I enjoyed my time here and will definitely go back.

What a truly lovely place to stay, Karen the landlady was great, very professional. The inn itself has loads of character, situated very close to the centre, the room was just what we needed for our 1 night stay. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again.

Lovely little pub with a great pint, could have done with some more comfortable seating.
A random empty fishtank was... Funny/tacky
No mention of the rich history that the pub holds which was a hit of a shame.

Met friends for a Sunday Roast, although only serving a limited menu of either roast beef or lamb, we can say the meal was spot on, from the quantity, the selection of veg which was perfectly cooked and the tender meat. Would definitely recommend and will return.
