We stayed at Red Kite Cottage with our dog, having chosen its remote location to get her away from fireworks on bonfire night. The small cottage is comfortable and well-equipped, with wonderful walks right from the door. We treated ourselves to one breakfast in the main house - excellent!

I stayed here after a really heavy week at a retreat, thinking to have a quick reset before the long drive home in September.||||I was asked if im ok with dogs, but not the smell which was so strong i just wished i drove home instead. I would of rather have slept outside.||||So many dogs and i had to tiptoe as the whole team would start barking.||||And the host i found really rude. Whenever i couldnt understand something or couldn't find something she would answer so sarcastically and condescending. Is that a great host? Especially when i have trouble with overlooking as had brain surgery gone wrong, but you think people would have more empathy.||||I ended up near in an argument with the women because i 'hadn't paid her'. I couldn't get wifi, and apparently i should of paid her before. Which wifi kept cutting out on my bank. Plus why would i pay fully before if it was this bad? I wished i asked for a complete refund to the attitude more than anything, the only reason i didnt was because i was exhausted, didnt want a 3rd argument throughout a one night stay and get out of their to get home. Which you can see through the replies to some of these reviews. ||||So i felt really put down, treating someone like that and expecting me to pay.||||The best part was the lovely couple at breakfast who stayed in an outer building with no smell.||||Please think about some self development work.

We have just returned from 4 nights staying in Red Kite Cottage at North Hill Farm. What an incredible place this is. Such a beautiful location and so peaceful. From our cottage, we explored a different path every day with our two dogs and spent the days walking, picnicking and taking in the stunning scenery in every direction with just the sheep and the sound of the birds for company. Utter bliss. There is a lovely old pub in the village which serves good food but the cottage is well equipped if you prefer to self cater. Christine is a wonderful hostess and cooked us a delicious breakfast this morning before we left. If you love the countryside as we do, this is the perfect place to while away the days. We can’t wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in North Hill Farm cottage with our dog Ruby. Amazing location walks straight from the doorstep , very comfortable room and wonderful cooked breakfast. Chris is an amazing host and very helpful with things to do in the area . We loved the Shropshire hills our first visit to the area and will return !

We stayed as a couple in the Red Kite self catering cottage. It had everything you might need and the furnishings were top class. The bed was large and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The views across the valley to the north are wonderful and the baaing of the sheep made you appreciate the stillness of the area right at the end of the cul de sac entrance track. Our hostess provided us with an excellent breakfast each day: although we could have done our own it was good to chat with other guests at the B&B. Do visit…you will not be disappointed.

|We have just returned from 2 night stay at the wonderful North Hill farm.|We were made to feel very welcome by Christine who is a lovely host, full of local knowledge and also cooks an excellent breakfast. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of birdsong, and sheep and cows in the fields. For evening meal we walked a mile to the Royal Oak in the village of Cardington, and although the walk back is uphill for some of the way it made having a dessert guilt free !!|Stunning views from the farm, and there are plenty of walks and things to do in the area.|Shropshire is a beautiful part of the world and we are so looking forward to returning hopefully before too long.|

We spent 3 nights in the excellent Red Kite Cottage. An great location for walks and exploring this area. The accommodation was very comfortable and perfect for self catering. We did, however, opt for the breakfast in the main house and this too was excellent. The cottage has spectacular views taking in Caer Caradoc and the Lawley. Would fully recommend the venue hence the 5 stars given above.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Red Kite Cottage, from 6th-9th September. Too short ! My wife's words when we stepped-in for the first time into the cottage was, "I don't want to go anywhere during our stay."||||North Hill Farm is perched at the top of rolling hills of Shropshire, thus providing a magnificent panorama everywhere you looked. The buildings have preserved the patina of age, yet are very well equipped with all the comforts and modernities.||||The cottage was fully furnished with a kitchenette with complete fittings for self-catered cooking, a comfortable sofa living area, a roundtable seating 5 for dining or work right next to wide windows that look out to the tremendous views. There's also a private courtyard, and if you really need, a DVD player with a commendable selection of movies to choose from, books/novels, and satellite TV.||||The owner Christine Brandon, is an excellent chef ! Breakfasts were always a real treat and her skill with omelette creations is 5-star dining. Her Smoked Salmon Omelette personal recipe is a truly memorable experience, the character of the dish subtly changes with every mouthful ... amazing !||||It is so peaceful, just sounds of the wind blowing, birds and the occasional bleating of sheep. Barely 5 vehicles drove by the narrow path during our entire stay.||||Highly recommended for an autumn retreat to rest and re-charge. We can't wait to return !
