Our third stay at Shropshire Hills Glamping and it is as wonderful as ever! A unique and cosy cabin, completely private within beautiful surroundings, it is just perfect for switching off and relaxing.
We’ve stayed in the summer and loved having all of our meals outside and using the BBQ and we love it just as much in the winter staying inside the cosy cabin, toasting marshmallows on the log fire and using the outdoor hot tub!

Our second time at Shropshire Hills Glamping and we absolutely love it! Went in October last year and the cabin was a lovely retreat from the grim English weather....we put the fire on or got in the hot tub, got cosy and just switched off! We visited again this week and it is a different but equally amazing experience in the summer! ||The cabin itself is unique and beautiful and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing trip. The cabin is completely private and has the most amazing views across the Shropshire Hills. We made good use of the BBQ/fire pit and hot tub as well as exploring the local areas for walks and sight seeing. ||Thank you Moray, Darren and girls! We will be back!

Absolutely incredible nights stay and would highly recommend to anyone!! My partner booked this for my birthday, and I couldn’t have wished to spend it anywhere better. Moray, Darren & one of their girls Olivia were really welcoming, showing us where everything was and how to work things. The wood fired hot tub was already burning away on our arrival and the luxury hamper was full of lots of goodies - Prosecco included! |The hen house (kitchen) is fully kitted out and there is even tea & coffee! It has everything you’ll need during your stay - including bottle openers 😏 and there is a BBQ outside with a pizza oven which was perfect! |If you’re a little a shy of “normal” camping, this is definitely for you! Yes there is no electricity and the shower is outside (it does have hot water) but you have a comfy bed inside 4 walls, and a flushable toilet. Whilst still getting to enjoy the pure bliss that is the top of this hill. Where all you can hear is the odd cow, sheep or bird, and you can relax around a campfire watching the sunset. |Darren & Moray have worked so hard to make Sammie’s hideout perfect and they have thought of everything down the tiniest of details which make your stay extra special! |Thank you all for a perfect birthday weekend, we will be back!!

If you don’t have time to read all of this - We had a fantastic one night stay at Shropshire Hills Glamping and I would recommend it to anyone!||I booked this site for my partners birthday. She had wanted to go for a number of years, having followed the site on social media and seen it evolve through the various yurts into what it is now, a log cabin.||I contacted Moray by email and she very quickly and kindly set up the booking for a one night stay. I also ordered the luxury hamper which included Prosecco, crisps, biscuits and items for breakfast! ||When we arrived we were greeted by Darren who immediately made us feel welcomed. Moray ushered us up to the site which is on top of a hill with great views of the Shropshire Hills. Being up on the hill it feels nicely secluded and private.||The site has the cabin, a separate kitchen, a wood fired hot tub, a fire pit and an outdoor shower. The kitchen has everything you need including tea and coffee. The shower is heated and is tucked away in the corner.||The cabin was lovely. The living area was nicely decorated with a log burner for the cold months. It has a plumbed in toilet and sink. The main bedroom was, again, decorated very nicely. It felt lovely and cozy. The bed was really soft and warm. Most importantly, it was really clean! The second bedroom, the kids room, has a bunk bed and what I think was a single futon. Well kitted out for kids, including board games and a blackboard wall (with chalk). There is no electricity in the cabins but you have plenty of candles available, electric lamps and head torches. Also hot water bottles and blankets for when it’s chilly. ||One of the main attractions is the wood burning hot tub. Already on the go when we got there, it didn’t take long to get to temperature and was lovely and warm when we got in. The Prosecco was definitely a welcome addition when in the hot tub! It was also really clean! It’s emptied and refilled in between each stay. ||In the evening we had the fire going, the stars were out and we were full up on pizza, cookies from the hamper and marshmallows (also available there). It was beautiful.||All in all a great stay. Lovely owners who have done a great job setting this site up. We will be back again, and again after that.

Shropshire Hills Glamping is extraordinary on so many levels, the views are spectacular, the facilities are incredible and the hosts are down right lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always there to help and answer any questions. ||The hot tub takes this glamping experience to the next level... you sink into pure relaxation. ||The cabin is styled and executed to perfection, the interior is beautiful and is only out done by the spectacular exterior. All in all if you are looking to book glamping here, seriously do not hesitate! We have been twice now and will return again ASAP.

I honestly don't know where to start. This place is spectacular. And the hosts are just so, so lovely! Their 2 girls are adorable too! 😍||I have been following their posts on social media for some time and have been desperate to stay and it did not disappoint!||Unfortunately there was no hot tub due to Covid19 (the main reason we booked) BUT!!! We had a waterslide instead which was probably waaaay more fun and the kids thought it was the best part of the holiday (so did I 😝)||The cabin was stunning! A lot of thought and effort has gone into building it, I can tell. I could easily live there. Glamping is one of our favourite things to do and Shropshire Hills Glamping has definitely been our favourite so far!||I 100% recommend this place to anyone! We don't often like to go to the same place as we like to explore various destinations but the kids REALLY want to come back and we can't wait to visit again in the future.||We can't thank you enough for a wonderful weekend SHG and for making my sons 10th birthday one to remember. ||Xx

Fantastic place, sammys hideaway is lovely and cosy, the decor is bang on, and the bed soooooo comfy! There’s a wood burner in the cabin, & a fire pit outside so plenty of things to keep you busy in the evening. ||The outside HOT shower is lush, and the wood powered hot tub AMAZING!!!! It stayed hot for hours, and was still warm in the morning (yes I did wake up and get straight in hehe)||We have enjoyed reading in the hammock, and cooking breakfast on the bbq, we also made use of the pizza oven on the first night.||The chicken hut camp kitchen is sooo well equipped including cleaning products whoop! And we arrived to a little message on the chalk board which was a lovely touch.||Our second day, the owners dropped off a charging bank for our phones, and new freezer packs for the chiller.||Who would of thought living without electricity could be so good.||In the evenings we lit all the candles in the cabin and popped on the battery powered digital radio!||Splendid, highly recommended!

Having never been glamping before I was a little apprehensive but I needn’t have been. SHG was perfect!||We had planned to go out for lunch but we were so relaxed onsite that we stayed there the entire time.||Everything was very comfortable.||Going in the hot tub was a new experience for me and it was great. The perfect way to relax after a hard day of doing nothing!||The views were amazing and I’m sure there would be some lovely walks if that’s what you plan to do.||||I didn’t want to go home and I will 100% visit again.
