I wasn’t sure what to expect from the spa as it’s attached to a gym, but it exceeded my expectations. The treatment was fantastic. The spa had great facilities, wasn’t too busy and was very clean. It was also very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Had a birthday spa day gift card...use of the lovely spa and two treatments done by the lovely, very good Siobhan. Treatment with care, dignity and she did two amazing treatments on me... Fantastic! Thanks Siobhan x

Steam room hasn't been working for months now, Jacuzzi is too cold and the drinking tap gives out warm water the relaxation room has interference on the audio system. It's unfair that you charge people to use this. really disappointing

Very disappointed with my experience with Blackbrook spa. The price has gone up since we last went and you don't get any more for your money. The jacuzzi was cold, the steam room wasn't working properly, the changing rooms were filthy and the towels that they provided smelt of old massage oil. When you compare the price for a 2 hour pass to a day pass at Nuffield in town or a session at Taunton pool, which has the same facilities, if not more, there is no competition. I will definitely not be coming back here.

Absolutely appalling customer experience; struggling to get through on the phone, not to mention that if you submit an online booking form with your mobile number they should be calling YOU back not the other way round!!! online booking system is rubbish- allows you to select dates that are not actually available. No info on opening times when you dial spa number directly.
I'd rather pay double but go somewhere where I feel valued as a customer.

The staff member was friendly but the place was disappointing. I only booked a spa pass on the phone the day before I came so not sure why I wouldn't be told beforehand, but the steam room wasn't working. We sat in there for 30 minutes thinking there must be a timer but it was never warm, all members would open door and leave straight away, I got talking to a member and he said it's been like this for a while. We then went into the jacuzzi which was cold. By this point I went to the staff member on the desk as this is 2 out of 3 facilities that have problems, but I got told that the jacuzzi is meant to be cold and isn't meant to be warm. I used to be a member here and it used to be a warm jacuzzi but maybe there trying to save cost by making it a cold one. The staff member told me that the steam room is half working but missing a piece to fix it which was going to be two weeks untill it arrived. It's either working or it's broken it can't be both and it was definitely broken.

I also came to use for the day to see if it was worth re joninig as when I was a member the jacuzzi was broken for a very long time, about 7 months, but this place still hasn't improved when it comes to the facilities, sadly this was a disappointing experience with the steam room being broken and the jacuzzi now being a cold jacuzzi.

Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed. We found that the steam room wasn't warm, neither was the jacuzzi. The changing rooms were very dirty and the towels smelt funny. I spent nearly £40 for my partner and I to go, and we only spent 30 minutes there because we were very disappointed with the facilities. I wanted to speak to someone on the way out, but there wasn't a member of staff around.

First time going there. One of my sons bought me the deluxe spa package at Christmas and used it today - my birthday. Had a neck, shoulder and back massage (Swedish back massage) and a facial. Bliss. Then into thermal spa and used the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Lovely. Would recommend.
