Our wedding was an intimate celebration held in a charming yet grand gallery in Richmond during the month of May 2023. We hoped to create a standing reception that embodied our cheeky and indulgent spirits - and without a doubt, Fauna & Fox was the ideal partner in crime to bring our vision to life. From the very first phone call to the end of our wedding day, Maryanne and her remarkable team were an absolute delight to work with.

The theme of our wedding reception exuded a modern twist on Marie Antoinette: a delicate balance between old-world elegance and contemporary flair. Maryanne artfully incorporated all things beautiful, sophisticated, stylish and sweet into the decor and the food to bring our concept to life. Soft pinks and pastels were complemented by touches of gold, and gracefully intertwined with glistening pearls, delicate lace and exquisite edible flowers. Vintage crockery, charming floral tea cups, stunning cake stands and sparkly crystals added a touch of nostalgic charm to the scene.

We began the celebration with a champagne reception, followed by an array of canapés and a stunning dessert table. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. We feasted on honey-smoked salmon blinis, prosciutto fig crostinis, and delectable vegan mushroom tartlets. Then came the moment to enjoy an abundance of confectionaries, including delicate macarons, miniature pink strawberry meringue kisses, delightful Eton mess served in shot glasses, and irresistible brownie bites.

Maryanne did the catering for our wedding and she was an absolute joy to work with. From the beginning, she was incredibly friendly, approachable and eager to discuss our plans. She met us at the wedding venue in person and brought us a hamper with some of her delicious dishes. After meeting her and tasting her food, we were certain we wanted to work with her.

As we were planning a vegan wedding, we wanted to make sure that the food was so good that our (mostly non-vegan) guests all loved it. We were also planning a very floral woodland wedding, and Maryanne's style went perfectly with the theme.

Maryanne crafted perfect menus for our canapés, main wedding breakfast and evening food, as well as making a show-stopping wedding cake. Her staff even mixed our cocktails and served the drinks we had brought with us. She lent us all the plates, crockery, silverware and glassware, making everything much easier for us, as our wedding venue was a blank canvas venue. She also provided coffees and teas as well as lemonades, which the guests really appreciated!

Maryanne really went above and beyond, even lending us items she already owned so that we didn't have to buy them. She is simply such a lovely person and so easy to work with.

Everything went smoothly on the day and we got so many compliments about the food. Everyone loved it! It was absolutely delicious.

I can't recommend Maryanne enough for any vegan wedding or event!

Can't recommend Fauna and Fox enough - Maryanne and her team did all vegan food for our wedding of 130+ people and everything was incredible. Canapés were absolutely delicious and there were loads of them. The main reception food was also amazing and super tasty. Nobody went hungry and we had lots of comments of how delicious the food was. Maryanne also worked with us to create some special South African themed items which was lovely. The whole team was ace running the bars and giving out the food - couldn't have asked for more. 10/10!

We used Fauna and Fox for our wedding at the Reid Rooms and the food was unbelievable!!. Only a few of my guests are vegan but everyone LOVED the food and could not believe vegan food could taste so good. the flavours were so delicious. you can tell Maryanne uses real quality ingredients. the presentation as well was stunning using the food as decoration and the edible flowers in our welcome cocktails was a lovely touch. on the day some plates were made up for us during the reception drinks (canapés) to ensure we ate whilst having photos which I think is really thoughtful to look after the bride and groom. Maryanne's communication from the beginning was so good reassuring us every step of the way. the food for me was the highlight of our day. we had the seated sharing platter at our wedding breakfast, Which I loved as it's a great way of everyone being able to try everything and a lovely way to eat together around a table. we also had the dessert bar which was a hit because who doesn't want to try everything. at least this way you don't have to choose! thank you to Maryanne and her team of foxes x I really had the most amazing day.
