A lovely weekend with our family for our daughter’s 16th birthday. The lodge was modern and spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. The outdoor decking / seating area is very nice and spacious. The hot tub is a lovely touch too. This wasn’t warm enough to use on the first night of our stay however we expected this so it wasn’t a problem. The site is very nice, clean and anyone we saw was friendly. We had no problem with noise or anything like that. I was also impressed with the miniature toiletries that were provided. We had two bathrooms in our lodge and both were very spacious. I would definitely come back here. Great value for money.

Lovely weekend stay at Ashby Wounds Lodges. Spacious, clean lodge, just a few snags (dishwasher was out of order, a couple of lights in one of the bedrooms didn't work, kitchen blind had come away from the wall), but this didn't spoil our stay at all. Hot tub was perfect temperature mid-evening on our first night. Spa treatments were amazing. Location peaceful, our lodge overlooked the canal which was a bonus. A short drive away from supermarkets, and lots of lovely walks around. Would definitely return.

The whole experience didn't start very well when I tried contacting these on numerous occasions regarding checking in, no answer on the phones for days before we arrived, voicemails left and nobody bothered to her back to me.|| When we arrived here for a weekend break. Check in wasn't until 5pm but as we traveled after work we got there quiet a bit later anyway. Upon arrival we wanted to make the most of the hot tub as we only spent 2 nights there, however it was cold, so the use of this was completely out of the window for the first night. Second night it was slightly warmer but not as warm as you'd expect. Check out was 9am Sunday morning, this is very early and meant we didn't really get full use of the facilities. Inside the accommodation definitely needed some tidying up, mould on the blinds in the bathrooms, furniture chipped on the corners, definitely not the level of accommodation we expected for the price.|| The advantages where how quiet it was, nice and peaceful and the facilities in the kitchen you couldn't complain about, they had everything you might need.||I wouldn't return here and definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone wanting a hot tub weekend because it was literally like a Luke warm bath one day one and not much better on day 2. Definitely not worth the prices they are charging here.

Loved the quiet location of our lodge. Check in was easy and the lodge very clean. It was just a few niggles, WiFi not connecting. Some of furniture showing its age, mainly drawers. Loved the hot tub and the chaise was anazing 😀 😃 Would recommend the site and the Lodge but the area was not for us, but that's just a personal preference.

I have been all over the country with Hoeseasons and never had an issue like I am still currently having with these. ||||Firstly, tried to contact them numerous times as check in wasn’t clear in the email to which they had gone home and closed reception before we got there, even though we rang two days before. ||||The place its self is okay, dated though. The man who works on call was great, but the women who run it don’t expect any kind of customer service from them. ||||They came by one the morning of the first day and asked us to go down and pay the 250 deposit, we didn’t have a card so they wrote down our details and told us that the money would be held for 10 days. ||||It’s been two weeks, and we STILL haven’t received the money. £250 has been taken as an online transaction, and when we have called multiple times they wer ed rude to us saying that it’s the banks issue. I’ve spoken to Monzo and it clearly states if their paperwork that they are to process a refund. We are now having to go down the route of fraud on my bank account to get the deposit back. ||||A 250 deposit when you can’t get in till 5pm and check out at 9am the next day is disgusting. I’m still waiting to hear from the owner to get our deposit back! ||||AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Whilst we had a nice stay there were a few things that let it down. Firstly we were told to ring when we arrived at 5pm to check in. I rang two different numbers several times over 10 minutes and no one answered meaning we couldn't even get into the property. We had to ring customer services who were just as confused as us. Thankfully he gave us the gate code and which number we were staying in. Later they day we were then rung about paying a security deposit in the morning but again when we rang in the morning no one answered, they then rang in the evening finally saying they were available so we were having to fit around them. Whilst the man was quite friendly and couldn't understand why we were paying a deposit at 5pm and then leaving at 9am the next day the woman was quite rude and unfriendly.|The stay itself was nice bit the first night the hot tub wasn't hot enough to use and the house itself needs a little TLC

Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay hear lodge and hot tub was very nice really clean and had everything we needed would definitely recommend if your after a nice peaceful stay somewhere some great pubs for food nearby will definitely be returning.

Lovely lodge with hot tub.
Weird that its basically off a normal housing estate, we loved the geese flying over each night while we were in the hot tub.
Full of everything you need including a dishwasher and washer / dryer.
Only downside would be how close the lodges are to each other - if i was in the bedroom or kitchen i could see straight through to the next lodge.
Some minor cosmetic issues which you expect.
We had a lovely time. Very quiet site.
