I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, always ready to assist with any requests. Really enjoyed my stay here. The gentleman on reception was lovely, very friendly, couldn't do enough to help. Lovely little touches in the room like the little table on your bed with coffees, biscuits, teas and a helpful information booklet. Loved the comfortable bed, the bathroom and the decor. It's clear the hotel really care about what they do.

Because it's a grade II listed building, I did hear a bit of noise from my neighbours, which was a bit irritating. It wouldn't put me off coming again, I booked the hotel because of it's charm and the fact it wasn't a premier inn or something like that. I'd just avoid a room facing the main street if I could. I also think an actual lock on the door would be could. To be clear, once you close the door, only someone with a key card can get in. It's just as a woman staying alone, I'm used to having a latch or something I can literally close myself. That said, I settled in and felt comfortable very quickly.

Found the car park which is right next to the lodge and maybe a 3 minute walk to reception over the road by the cathedral. |Smooth and polite check in and everything was covered for me. |The room, 8, was absolutely spotless and the welcome tray was lovely many thanks |Amazing facilities and the bed was huge and so comfortable |Many thanks for a great stay…. We will be back

Lovely stay, right opposite cathedral in centre of town. Was great having parking included. Only criticism was having to collect key from cathedral reception and wait as no-one around for about 5 minutes, but otherwise couldn't fault it.

An amazing find in the heart of Leicester! Dropped my daughter off for the first time at the University and wanted a hotel that felt comfortable and homely for our future visits. It's super central, great car parking, clean, modern, but in a beautiful old building. Kept the charm of the old, combined superbly with the modern. Great on site services for food and drinks. Extremely helpful and accessible concierge services and ideally located near to great restaurants and bars. Nespresso machine and white company toiletries a lovely touch. Personally we'd choose a room with a bigger bed next time as we didn't know that was an option and we are used to a bigger bed! No complaints! Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful quiet rooms in nicest part of town across from cathedral. Smart fittings, contemporary shower, perfectly neat and clean, stylish tray of refreshments with fresh Irish milk. Good value too. Visited to see My Fair Lady at Curve and this was perfect…10 mins away on foot.

Great location, lovely rooms. The only reason I have knocked a star off is because I arrived late at night (not their issue) and the reception wasn't in the hotel. It was also a bit noisy outside my room as people on the street were shouting but it's to be expected in the town centre. I would stay here again, staff were very polite, convenient parking behind the hotel.

The carpark is situated right behind the hotel. Check-in was easy and staff were so friendly and welcoming. |Our room was gorgeous!
