We loved our stay here! We had a premier plus room and the shower was very powerful, and had a detachable head. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.

Really good value hotel at East Midlands Airport. I stayed here for one night due to its proximity to the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic, but this is a Holiday Inn Express, not a luxury hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a hairdryer, kettle, iron and a few other features in the room. Wifi was fast and stable which is a big plus. The food is the restaurant was fairly decent and it was certainly quite busy the evening I was there. Breakfast is included for all rooms and there were plenty of hot and cold options with juices and coffees etc. OK it won't win any Michelin stars, but I was happy for the price. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the terminal or there is a bus stop right outside which gets there in a few minutes.

Abbie was very helpful with serving. Food was great. Recommended the pizza which was lovely. Made sure I was well looked after and also asked for any allergies which goes along was as my son has quite a few. Travelling alone this time but nice to know that companies are countering this problem

We booked in so that we could catch an early morning flight from East Midlands. The location was ideal for this and exceptionally good value. We had an accessible room because I am disabled. It was spacious and well laid out. It was also very clean, with a large comfortable bed. We slept well and it was quiet, despite the proximity of the airport. The accessible bathroom was the best that I have experienced, with a great shower and grab rails in all the right places. There is a cheerful bar and restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is that the bed was quite low - too low for me to be able to get off without first transferring to a chair, which we had moved next to the bed. Overall, it was an excellent choice for an overnight stop and would have been a great place to stay for a longer period.

The value is incredible. Includes breakkie. They are less than a mile away from the EMA airport terminal. Very straightforward to get to. Easy peezy check in . Took no more than half a minute , or thereabouts. We had to stay near the airport as we had a red-eye flight to the Canaries at 5.50am . Brilliant service - they make their breakfast available from 4am. Spacious rooms with all the mod-cons. Not a bad word to say about this establishment. ✅✔️☑️

The room was absolutely fine - everything as it should be.|Breakfast was also A-OK.|However, the evening meal was diabolical. We were offered a very limited menu (due to circumstances beyond their control…eh?), only then to discover the very limited menu also had items unavailable!!|The chicken curry my husband wanted was unavailable, so he went for steak with a pepper sauce. The server wasn’t sure if the pepper sauce was available. It wasn’t - but she didn’t bother advising this until the steak was served (he would have changed his choice AGAIN if he’d known this). |I had the green vegan curry. Don’t think it could have been any less appealing or basic. |Three items were available for dessert..but make that two, as one of them was ‘off’. |The dinner menu seriously lets them down, it’s embarrassing.

Emma the manager was superb. She was very talkative. She advised Abbie that there was no garlic mushrooms available before I served. Can see she really knows how to manage staff and customers. Would recommend staying here.

We stayed here just before our Christmas holiday , |The hotel is still very nice , clean and good staff , but …. ||Check inn was 3pm we arrived a bit early so had a drink while we waited , hotel was freezing cold , we did ask to put heaters on which they did , wife ordered a cup of tea which came with milk that had gone off , ||Evening meal : we was given a menu and told it was very limited on items , to be honest it was more than just limited , they did t even have a chef to cook it until a hour after service had meant to have started !! |We decided to scrap that and order from Domino’s pizza , |If you order direct from domino’s it’s a staggering £20 delivery !!!!! But if you do it through just eat it was £3:99 , so save your self a few quid . |Breakfast was a huge disappointment , swimming in grease , the hash browns were like sponges for it , the bread and croissants were rock hard . |So very very disappointed to say the least . |We did mention it to the staff member |(A pregnant girl ) who said sorry il mention it then walked away . ||All in all , Room clean and tidy food absolutely shocking and will think twice before eating here again . ||Parking £9 per night
