We recently held a family event with about 40 people at the Vineyard Hotel, and I simply cannot say enough good things about it.

Having been recently for a wine tasting for my birthday, which I'd thoroughly enjoyed, I immediately thought of Mannings Heath/ The Vineyard as the place to host our event. First of all the team were simply exceptional. A rare thing in hospitality, they all obviously care deeply about the customer. Karen is a true gem, going out of her way on so many aspects to ensure the day ran perfectly and every little detail was looked after. Jo coordinated everything behind the scenes to provide us with a delicious menu for both the daytime buffet and a private meal in the evening, well serviced and beautifully designed bedrooms for those of us staying overnight, and even a dedicated 'playroom' so that the kids could have space to be kids.

The service from the whole team was exceptional - our server in the evening came and said goodnight as she left, letting us know that she was handing over to the night porter for any last nightcaps we might want. Our guests were blown away with the level of professionalism as well as the aesthetic, which is a beautiful combination of stylish design and comfort.

The recent refurb has been done sympathetically to the house's original design whilst feeling modern and special, it's really stunning and has similar beautiful artworks to the main house at Leonardslee Gardens.

I wouldn't hesitate to suggest to anyone looking for a special event, an overnight stay or just to pop in for a meal or wine tasting to come and experience what this lovely team are creating there.

9 very comfortable rooms and a cottage. Breakfast and lunch only. Nice manor house feel. Be prepared for no coffee early…sometimes 0730 is possible in the hotel or you go downstairs to the golf club and pay. Servers are polite but for both breakfasts they could not deliver what was requested. The hotel is only open since April 2024 and their main focus seems to be events, which are noisy in the evening. A good place to stay for golf in the country if you are prepared to be patient with the lack of trained staff.

Every hotel needs a Karen!!!! A fab experience for a surprise visit for my partners 60th organised by Karen, she was amazing & nothing too much trouble. Beautiful suite & fabulous grounds
