This Travelodge was probably the cleanest Travelodge I’ve stayed in, the rooms were really nice, the bathroom was immaculate, there was no funny smells, the breakfast was good for a Travelodge breakfast, the staff were friendly and the location was perfect for us. The only problems we had was that we got locked out of our room once where the key cards wouldn’t work and it took us 15 mins to find a member of staff and that was after waiting at the desk then having to push our way into the corridors behind someone coming into the hotel. The other thing was that in the early hours of each morning the fire alarm kept going off, I have no idea what it was for but the staff would keep saying it was a false alarm, it was annoying when we were trying to catch up on sleep. Other than that it was good and we would stay again.

Friendly welcome from Kate. Room ready when we arrived. The room was a little small but it was clean, warm and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a bath mat to stand on when getting out of the shower, so had to use a hand towel as I didn't want to slip.
We went to the cafe bar for a drink and a snack in the evening, the wine was nice and the food tasty and reasonably priced.
After a good night's sleep we went for breakfast, it was well cooked and there was plenty of choice. I would recommend it for a short stay

Had to ask for towels and toilet paper on arrival as there were none in the room. Even with the heating off and window open with freezing temps outside, the room was uncomfortably warm at night. Added to this was the smell of cannabis from other guests smoking outside the main entrance as well as a strong smell of it in the corridor. Breakfast was OK at best, some items were cold and the coffee machine was broken

Arrived at around 9pm on a Monday night. Receptionist was the same person serving the bar so had a slight wait.

Room itself was nice and clean. Was staying with the wife and our 4 month old baby. In his own cot he's usually moving about a lot at night but on the hotel bed he didn't move an inch and slept peacefully throughout the night.

Room was initially cold as window had been left open before we arrived...but the in room heater did eventually bring temperatures up

Bathroom was clean and didn't feel cramped.

It's right by the black country museum and Dudley zoo.

Would recommend a stay here.

Check in and check out were easy.

Car park is a bit small but mid week we were able to easily find a space.

Power sockets right by either side of the beds and all seemed to have usb ports too... Slow charging but not an issue when charging overnight.

Room was quiet .not sure if it was because it's a Monday. Could hear the occasional door being opened/closed but no traffic, flushing toilet or boiler noises that I've come to expect of many chain hotels.

Excellent food service and very kind! Gave great service and couldn’t do enough to help me and my work colleagues. Would definitely recommend this travel lodge in the future, even with the issues of broken freezers and current issues our control still went above and beyond

Due to storm damage to our home had to find emergency accommodation. Booking was easy and staff are friendly. Our initial nights stay was ok it was a family room for me and 2 children. Had to book additional nights. Long stay housekeeping is shocking. Dispite leaving out Top me up signs drinks facilities were changed once. Every nite I had to trapse down and ask for clean cups and tea, sugar and milk. They only do a deep clean every 7 days. Room bin was overflowing due to not being emptied, we had more towels than I knew what to do with, once they were even just dumped on the bed, and dirty towels were not removed. Family rooms need cleaning more often, would you leave your own home floors, sink and toilet uncleaned for 7 days?
1 or 2 night stay is probably OK I wouldn't recommend a long stay not with a family
Parking was ok and close to town so easy access to bus routes. Room was warm but noisy from the traffic lots of fast speeding cars with loud exhausts at night but you get used to it.
Glad I only had to use the room as a base to sleep.
Given the choice I wouldn't rebook!!!

No problems staying. The room had plenty of power points for charging phones etc. The only gripe we had was that it was difficult to book a taxi due to hotel postcode not work right with the local taxi company apps. Google needs to get their maps database sorted for that area.
