Belated Birthday treat for myself and a friend. £14.95 each. Choose a sandwich and they did the rest. Plenty there and all fresh. Even managed to take a bun home to the hubby as I felt guilty (that's what I told him, I wasn't really). Nice atmosphere and I would go again. Pre-booked with a £5 each deposit.

I stumbled across this place and what a lovely place it is. I don't normally drive this way to Peterborough and spotted this place and had to take a look.
The place is really clean and well planned out. The staff were really welcoming and I enjoyed my time here.
Unfortunately I didn't get anything in the Cafe but it all looked really nice, maybe next time.

Went for a Breakfast. Didn't think it was value for money 12.50 pounds without a coffee. Should include the coffee at that price. Lovely gardens and lake surrounding it but covid still present amongst some staff. Great farm shop if you can afford the prices ie 19.50 pounds for a meal in there! Must have decent transport to get here.

Decent food and nice setting. I have been here several times because it is a convenient place to meet up with 3 friends. I telephoned in the morning to enquire if I could book a table for lunch. Was told only for 6+ people - no problem. Had a discussion about whether or not they are busy at lunch times on a Monday. Was surprised then upon arrival to see a sign saying there was no hot food after 11.30 am because the kitchen was being renovated (so obviously planned). If someone phones and has a discussion with you about lunch that day, why would you not mention that you are not serving hot food? A complete waste of a journey. Had to then try and find somewhere else we could all go to for lunch.

Stopped for lunch one Saturday. Busy, but seated straight away. Lovely home cooked stew and mash. Some of the tables have binoculars so you can do a bit of bird spotting while you wait for your food. Newsletters on the tables are a nice touch providing updates on the farming activity. Also popped in the shop for some bird food. Plenty of parking including charging points. Nice grounds to walk round.

We go here every time we visit Spalding, the cafe serves a really good breakfast, the deserts are delicious (especially the Viennese fingers/whirls) and the shop sells excellent crisps/haslet/pies. And if that’s not enough, the nature reserve is a lovely way to spend 15 minutes walking around after you’ve finished eating.

Very good , we buy our potatoes here in bulk size bags.
Nice farm shop and butchers.
Incredible array of bird food and very good advice on wild birds.
Haven’t tried the cafe yet but it looks nice.

Really nice place! Cafè food and drink is lovely, always friendly staff. I have and will continue to return here. Too many people complain about prices, but if they knew that farmers only get 10p of the £1.50 a loaf of bread costs in the supermarket, they’d understand why you pay more to have perfect fresh produce!
