I am local to the Queens Inn but have not visited for a while, the staff were great, very accommodating about dietary requirements, especially our waiter, lovely smiley Sam, nothing was too much trouble. Food was to a very high standard, roast dinners were tip top, vegans and vegetarians more than catered for. The feta and beetroot starter was unusual and very tasty. Prices on a par with similar restaurants, I will be back.

What a great little find this was. Beautiful rooms which look like they’ve been recently upgraded.

The rooms looked lovely on line and even better when we arrived. We were upgraded to a room that had a lovely little snug. Not only were the rooms stunning but they even supplied the most delicious chocolate brownies!

When we arrived for check in the lovely lady provided us with complementary coffee and tea which was such a nice touch. We have been away a fair bit over the years and haven’t experienced this in many places.

Lots of pluses about the Queens Inn -

- complementary tea/coffee on arrival
- brownies in the room
- plenty of charging points (and next to the bed!)
- check out time 11am
- delicious breakfast - continental with full English
- extremely tasty pizzas (and great side salads)
- fabulous staff!

We did find the breakfast room rather loud but this was probably to do with the lack of soft furnishings and there was a large group in. However the lovely staff let us sit in the main area to have our breakfast. They were so accommodating, nothing was too much problem.

Such a lovely, lovely stay, thoroughly recommend. Thank you all!

We were staying for 3 nights over our wedding anniversary. The team provided brilliant service when we had to make an emergency journey that meant we did not get back to the hotel until after the kitchens would have normally closed. But they kept the kitchen open and prepared a fresh meal for our anniversary celebration 11/10!

I stayed here for my birthday, what a truly lovely place. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
We stayed in the deluxe double, totally worth it. The room was amazing with great presentation. Breakfast was perfect, a good choice and the meal in the evening was exceptional.
I will go back, and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Kent that is looking for high standards for their stay.

Booked for lunch and asked if it was dog friendly, I was told it was. Got to the Queen's inn to frosty reception . No smile, no menu given and was told my tiny toy dogs were not allowed on my lap or to sit on my coat on the sofa , they were to sit on the freezing floor . Pub was cold ,bar maid was vinegary. We left, could not wait to get back to good old Hastings where people have a smile, pubs are warm and dogs really are welcome !!!

We were given outstanding service by the team at the venue. We were offered and accepted a quiet spot to check in with complimentary tea or coffee. That extra service standard was maintained throughout our weekend stay by all the staff who were all professional, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very good both for breakfast and evening meals. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

After a six hour drive, we arrived at the Queens Inn. We were immediately impressed with the reception we received and the friendliness of the staff. We had delicious food, including pork belly and ribeye steak. The rooms were large and comfortable. Overall it was the friendliness of the staff and the way we were made to feel exceptionally welcome that really made the stay worthwhile. I think that this is the best place to stay in the immediate area and I have no hesitation in recommending this place wholeheartedly and fully to all other travellers particularly those who reach the area after a long journey this place really is a warm and friendly sanctuary.
