Kitchen of Kent provided the food and bar service for our wedding and it was the best decision EVER. Russell, Chloe and the team were a joy to work with and the food on the wedding day was exceptional. We have received feedback from multiple guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had, and we agree. Absolutely everything, from the canapes to the main meal to the pudding, was exquisite and we were over the moon with it. Their staff were friendly and helpful and played a huge part in making our wedding day the best day of our lives. I would recommend Kitchen of Kent to everyone. Thank you SO much for everything!

We hired Kitchen of Kent to provide the catering for our wedding reception, and we couldn’t have made a better decision. Russell was incredibly helpful in sorting out exactly what we wanted, without us needing to make any compromises, unlike some companies we enquired with, and was able to arrange an evening taster session beforehand that fitted our calendar. The food from the canapés to the dessert was excellent, and the mains in particular were some of the best we’ve ever tasted. The value for money was excellent, and there was even so much left over that we went away with multiple trays of leftovers after everybody had had more than their fill! If you’re looking for a caterer for any size event, we highly recommend Kitchen of Kent.

Highly recommend, food was amazing!
We booked kitchen of Kent after seeing them in action at a large corporate event. We needed someone that could be flexible but cope with high volume and quickly.
Russel and team did not disappoint. Very friendly and organised.

Kitchen of Kent was the first and only wedding caterer that we looked at for our special day- we knew straight away they were exactly what we were after and felt no need to look at other companies! From the offset, Russell was incredible and nothing was too much for him or his staff! The food tasting was held in their lovely unit and we got to try a selection of the food we had picked. These were all perfect and exactly what we wanted. We had really good communication throughout the planning which led to a smooth running event and even had multiple site visits with Russell, up until the night before the wedding! We can honestly say that without Russell’s help, our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was! The food on the day was just fantastic, everything cooked to perfection. We've had so many compliments on the wonderful food! Every detail was perfect and personalised to us! They provided us with all aspects of food as well as a great evening bar (with some brilliant bar girls!) and pretty much a wedding planner all in one! Russell went above and beyond to really give us a show stopping wedding! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kitchen of Kent to anyone that is needing any kind of catering! AVOID KITCHEN OF KENT for your wedding - raw disgusting food, Russell didn't show up, no reply. Would give 0 stars if could.

I have only just got round to writing this review due to family circumstances and to be honest, putting it off so as not to recall our horrendous experience.

Initial meeting and taste session with Russell (owner Kitchen of Kent and head chef) last year was a fantastic experience and the food was delicious. A week before the wedding, Russel told us that a member of his team would contact us leading up to the wedding to go over final details. This never happened.

We chose beef brisket starter which came out luke warm and very mushy almost like a fishcake, followed by roast beef and roast potatoes with veg for our main. It truly was awful. The potatoes were waxy, leathery and grey and the vegetables were inedible - raw, not even al dente. The entire meal was worse than the average Toby Carvery and was akin to care home/hospital food. The veggie mushroom tarts were cold in the middle.

Canapés and desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. Basically, all the food that was prepared the day before was wonderful, but the food cooked on the day was horrendous.

We wanted to speak to Russel on the day but it turns out he wasn't there! He was likely at another event that was paying more which is a cheek as we spent nearly £5K!

It was an extremely excruciatingly embarrassing experience with our main course and an entire waste of time and money. I wouldn't have minded an assistant chef being there on the day so long as they could cook and if Russell had had the decency to forewarn us that he wouldn't be there.

I have tried to reach out to Russel a few times now but no response. I believe he's trying to expand the business but is unable to maintain standards in the process.

I hope other couples do not go through the same experience we did.

Kitchen of Kent are honestly the best catering company around! Having tasted their gorgeous food at previous events, we knew from the start that Kitchen of Kent was an absolute must for our wedding. The food at our wedding was incredibly flavoursome and absolutely delicious! So many guests commented on your wonderful culinary skills, one was so impressed, she has now booked you for an event! Russell and his team are approachable and attentive throughout the whole process, making it such an enjoyable part of planning a big event! On the day, the front of house staff were fantastic, running the day and making decisions to keep smooth running. We could not recommend Kitchen of Kent highly enough, they are absolutely superb!!!
