The food here is excellent, great breakfasts (thick bacon) but good other meals too (try the scampi). Max and Andria are so welcoming and chatty and the number of regulars at this place is testament to that.

Great husband and wife team. Friendly great service nice people. Food is always prepared well with real fresh mushrooms, perfect fried bread. Decent back bacon etc.. Highly recommend. The best cafe in the area

This is a solid, old skool greasy spoon cafe. Grab your own cutlery, pre-buttered bread and polystyrene takeaway cups.

The food was hot and tasty without any bells or whistles. The cuppa was proppa and staff were polite, especially since I arrived as they opened.

Prices are reasonable and facilities are available.

Working away from home and decided to pop in for lunch. I cannot fault this cafe. The atmosphere - It has a really friendly community/family feel to it. Will hopefully visit again before I leave. The food was speedy and fresh. The service was great, I was given an extra slice of bread. 10/10 from me.
