It was my friend’s birthday and we were looking for somewhere to have a nice night away without breaking the bank.
This place hit all the right boxes! It’s dog friendly so we were able to bring our best friends and had a king size bed each giving us so much room to be comfortable in. The beds were comfy the rooms were clean and it’s so nice to have a little outdoor balcony which I imagine in the summer is lovely! We made use of the January offer so enjoyed time in the spa which had a ladies only area and hot tub which was such a luxury it was so tranquil and inviting.
The staff were all so friendly and accommodating with any requests we had and helped us out if we needed anything.

Couldn’t fault anything will definitely be back

We didn’t use the spa facilities or the golf course, so unable to comment on them…..|We had booked two rooms, one king (which was more like a junior suite) and a twin (2 double beds). Both rooms were huge, with large sliding patio doors onto a balcony overlooking the beautiful golf course. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the shower was hot with good pressure. Yes, the decor was a little dated - but the furniture was all in good condition and no peeling wallpaper or anything like that!|Beds were comfy, and the heavy curtains provided a good blackout, we had a very peaceful nights sleep. |Breakfast was delicious too - the cooked breakfast buffet was lovely and hot and the ingredients were all good quality. A small selection of continental items too. |We found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. |Can’t fault the hotel - great value.

The 2 stars were awarded to the friendly receptionist on our arrival. She was so welcoming and it was a great introduction to the hotel.||Our room was large with a beautiful view over the golf course, but freezing in temperature and no means to heat the room. (or at least a thermostat that worked). The decor of the room is tired and dated, as is the entire hotel generally. It needs a refurb. The kettle with tea and coffee was bizarrely placed on a tray under the TV with a hairdryer, but no where near a plug socket. I only found it because I was looking for a mini fridge. (there wasn't one).||There were two pleather covered armchairs in the room, one of which was very badly damaged and split. Why it wasn't removed was beyond me. Not a great first impression.||Staff wise in the restaurant - there was a very lovely waitress and another waitress who did not have the right demeanor for a customer fronting supervisory role. (bordering on rude with an attitude). ||Food wise - we booked a table for dinner in the restaurant. Our food orders were at the command of the waitress rather than when we were ready to order. The meals of the half of the party arrived cold, not lukewarm, but just out of the fridge ice cold. The plates themselves were not warmed either. Maybe the chef forgot to put the plates in the microwave.||Again, the attitude of supervisory waitress was not one I would expect of a person in a customer service role. The attitude was initially defensive, followed by an offer to reheat the food, which would have overcooked the meat element, and delayed the table eating together. We asked for them to go away and come up with a better solution. Although they offered to replace the meals with something different, they advised there would be a long wait. We declined and ordered chips.||The resolution was to not charge for the food for the table and we accepted the offer.||Breakfast the next morning was hot (hurray!) and tasty.||All in all - the hotel is tired and dated. Our rooms cost £170 for one night, and the value of our stay did not substantiate this payment.

My sister and I wanted a mini break not too far away and this hotel was perfect. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly receptionist who was helpful in explaining things. We were delighted with our room that had a stunning view across the golf course, and a balcony to relax and look at the view. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotlessly clean. We had an excellent massage in the beauty salon and relaxed on the loungers until we were ready to go swimming. Again a very clean pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. In the evening we enjoyed a delicious meal for very reasonable prices, and again with friendly staff. Breakfast the next morning, after another lovely swim, was a buffet with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, beans, bacon, sausage and mushrooms. Also the only toaster I've known toast the bread the first time! For a short break it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Highly recommend.

I liked the double room with a balcony over looking the golf course, bed was comfortable. Tv was missing most of its channels which was a pain. Food was great, service was a bit slow when waiting for the menu. I think the website is a bit misleading with the pool and spa, unless you read every part to the end it implies the pool and spa are for use of the guests !! Well it is for £25. Apart from that it's quite nice.

We gave this 3 stars , however there are three elements to this review. Firstly the three stars goes to the room , clean but dated , take a look at the drapes the linings were Pershing into holes! And the staff need to look up as the ceilings and coving were covered in cobwebs! There are no reception staff overnight and was unsure if there were In fact any resident staff available overnight.|Secondly one star goes to the restaurant , old ,dated , sticky tables and more cobwebs,, staff were inattentive and the wait to order food was lengthy , when the food arrived it was like eating at weatherspoons … not what you expect from a four star hotel . Finally 5 stars to the spa area, polite staff , clean and excellent facilities , actually quite amazing.|Finally to sum up hotel needs some care and attention, and bringing into the 21st century, it is very tired , the bar/ waiting staff need a course on customer care/ service and the spa was amazing , the only thing we would come back for would be the spa.|Can’t comment on the golf as didn’t use the facilities.

Our church family was looked after so well today by the staff of London Beach. We took part in one of their Sunday lunches for charity. The food was absolutely delicious and the service so friendly. The setting is also perfect. We were then presented with a cheque at the end of the meal! Thank you London Beach!
