I have been seeing Shelly for many years, she is utterly incredible. Shhh holistic is a magical place with such talented and wonderful people who work there. Shelly suggested I meet Shirley. Oh my goodness what a lady! I’ve seen a fair few therapists over many years of struggling with many things. Shelly helped me through many struggles. Now Shirley is shifting the way I think and deal with self love and saying ‘no’ in a good way. Most of all I feel I’m being healed and supported by an absolute miracle woman. It is very rare to meet someone and know instantly that Im in the right place. I’m meant to share my next chapter with this fabulous woman. Shirley is talented, kind, calming and supportive of everything I bring to her. We talk, laugh, cry but most of all I feel safe, heard and supported. What can I say about Shelly Murphy and Shhh Holistic without talking for hours! I first saw Shelly back in 2022, for my own health issues after being diagnosed with breast cancer. During my time with her I opened up to some concerns that I had for my 20 year old son and instantly she gave me excellent support and advice. It was thanks to Shelly that I realised that we needed to get additional support and she guided me to the right people to speak to, ensuring my son got the right help and support he needed whilst he was going through some very serious mental health issues. Shelly was by my side through a very traumatic time, something we would never imagine as a family we would ever experience with our son at such a young age. Shelly made sure that myself and my husband had a safe space to talk and open up and enabled us to be able to support our son, yet also look after ourselves. When the timing was right, Shelly started to treat our son and he started to have regular talking therapies and various healing treatments. Initially, my son was unsure that Shelly and the holistic approach was going to help but after the first appointment he knew he had someone he could confide in and finally open up to. Today we are all so grateful that we made the step to start a healing journey with Shelly. Our son has built a trust and relationship with Shelly that he feels comfortable and happy to talk to her, it took time for him to open up but he realised that it was starting to help and he became confident in her sessions. He absolutely loves the holistic treatments and comes out refreshed and normally laughing - something he has not done for a very long time. The journey we have been on has meant we have been under an NHS team, and throughout that time Shelly has contacted and spoken to our care workers and therapists when we have hit dark moments and or unsure of what to do or how to support our son. Her advice has been invaluable and we do not know what we would have done without both her support and her therapy.

6 weeks into my IVF journey, I met Shelly on a lama retreat, and immediately fell in love. It’s not often that you meet someone who can instantly calm your nervous system and make you fall about & wet yourself laughing, in one breath. But it wasn’t until years later that we connected on a deeper plane. Lying in the middle of a women’s healing circle, high as a kite on sage fumes and seething with scepticism - Shelly and her crystal finally found their way to me. What happened next became the catalyst for the profound pivot in my life’s story. After excavating a tsunami of trapped trauma emotions, which had forced my body into an early-onset state of rigour mortis, Shelly swiftly became my: therapist, spiritual healer, life coach, fellow ADHD buddy… and a friend for life.

After only a short time of working with her, Shelly helped me to realise the depth of my unhappiness… but also the depth of my worth. With her guidance I was able to find the courage to leave a toxic marriage and finally (at 42yrs old) find my agency in the world. I even tattooed 42 on my body! A permanent reminder that life doesn’t just happen to us… we get to choose the lens through which we see and embrace life.

Thanks to Shelly’s healing hands and words of encouragement, the pain, anger and stiffness in my body has now gone. I am able to access and express my emotions freely and I no longer carry any sadness or resentment about the past. In fact, I’m grateful for all it.
