What a find! Beautiful accommodation, stunning gardens and a huge comfy bed - we had a wonderful stay! Very peaceful. I had a lovely walk in the evening through the wildflower meadows and we liked seeing the sheep too. We didn't have much sun but I will certainly be bringing a bottle of something nice next time to enjoy in the walled gardens, they were spectacular. Thank you to Steve for making our stay so lovely.

We stayed here as a family of 4, made up of 3 generations, in the two B&B rooms. I cannot recommend this place enough, not only is the setting beautiful, the rooms are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts sally and Jon. As soon as we arrived we were offered refreshments in their beautiful garden and greeted by their beautiful collie dog Lottie. Clean and very comfortable rooms, a lovely location, amazing hosts who also provide a wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning. Thanks again, I'm just very pleased we found you.

We visited the Abbey Farm in Wolvey in the last week of April 2018||||The stay was very pleasant, we felt very comfortable - Jon and Sally were fantastic hosts!||||We traveled with our motorcycles and had a long drive from Germany to Wolvey in cold and rainy weather. When we got there, Jon greeted us with a cup of hot tea and made us feel welcome.||||We had booked single rooms, the rooms were both clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you need and each had its own bathroom with shower.||||Also to be highlighted is the excellent English breakfast. Prepared by Jon, it was a perfect start into the day.||||We could not have had better accommodation, everything was perfect. Here you will not find anonymous accommodation like others but a unique country house with warm hosts.||||Thank you Jon and Sally for the great time at Abbey Farm.

We stayed in one of the self catering units and It had everything we needed for our one week stay visiting family. Very comfortable and a real home from home. Lovely rural location - so peaceful and picturesque. Thanks to Steve and his family for being great hosts. Fresh eggs and milk too a lovely touch. Would gladly visit again.

Me and my family stayed here over the new year period. The rooms were very comfortable an ample for our needs. Steve and Jess were very welcoming. It was lovely walking into the log burning fire and Xmas decorations and friendly doggies who were great with my 2 toddlers.||||I was worried about how the kids would sleep given it was a different environment we'd not been before but we all had a great night sleep and fab breakfast in the morning cooked by Steve, his wife Jess is gluten intolerant so understood my allergy requirements which were catered to with ease, nothing seemed too much trouble. It was lovely having a walk round the farm land and beautiful gardens to stretch our legs before we had to leave. The kids loved seeing the sheep. We will definitely be back ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't expect 5* luxury or pamperings at this B&B establishment. It is very quirky, rustic and what you see is what you get. Jon and Sally are charming hosts. They run and manage a 25acre farm as well as the B&B. The rooms in the house are rustic and wooden but both with en-suite, tv, tea/coffee facilities. Jon's breakfasts are very hearty and all freshly prepared and cooked. Lotty, their collie, is such fun and a joy to see. Very peaceful location set well back from the road. Garden area to sit in.

My husband and I stayed at Abbey Farm with our two-year old daughter in July. We had a fantastic time. The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend staying here.

We arrived late but nothing was a problem for Jon and Sally in ensuring we got settled into our self-catering accommodation; tea, fresh milk and directions to various attractions. The accommodation is perfect, clean, cosy, warm and homely. We were there on business and pleasure and this was a perfect location to meet our needs. The breakfast is top notch and sets you up for the day; very hearty and tasty. Jonโ€™s local knowledge is second to none and his directions always get you to your chosen destination. Enjoyed the local crack and swapped a few stories. Being away from the road meant that you get peaceful nightโ€™s sleep and totally refreshed for the next day. Will certainly be stopping hear again at this lovely country retreat when next in the area
