The Dodges Oast place is amazing. We stayed in the double room at the top of the house with the most scenic views from the windows. It was clean, comfortable and made us feel at home. Joanna and Paul are absolutely fabulous hosts. The hot breakfast was made with fresh eggs from their chickens and local sausages. They were very helpful with directions, obtaining train passes to London, and even dropped us off at the nearest station. The Dodges Oast is the most peaceful and relaxing place to stay. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a lovely stay in the Kent countryside.

Had only two nights in this perfectly maintained B&B with my wife. Joanna and Paul gave us a warm welcome, taking their time for a cup of tea and a chat when we arrived. Maybe we extended a bit when we realized that Paul an I both fancy beekeeping 🐝😄.|Anyhow - a lovely and quiet place to stay some nights. We stayed here the night of going to a wedding at nearby Spivers Mansion about 3 miles away, Paul very kindly drove us to the venue so we did not need to take our car and we got a taxi back. Jo and Paul are lovely hosts of this beautiful B & B in the pretty Kent countryside. The room and bathroom were spotless and Jo cooked us a lovely breakfast. Thank you.

This review is a few weeks over due, we stayed for two nights, as we were attending a wedding in a nearby village on the Saturday, Paul & Joanna made us very welcome and were happy to lets us get ready on the Saturday and not leave the house until 12.30, we really appreciated this as most B&B's require you to leave the house by 10.00am.||The rooms are very comfortable and it is so lovely and quite with wonderful views we slept like logs!!! ||Excellent breakfast with fresh eggs from Paul's chickens.

This was our second stay at Dodges Oast, and we weren't disappointed. ||||This time we stayed two nights and, as before, we had a warm welcome (with the magic words "would you like a cup of tea?". ||||The room was clean, spacious, and most importantly quiet - really quiet. The views are just beautiful, with a couple of glimpses of the family's chickens! ||||A flask of milk was provided for tea/coffee in our room, and a lovely cooked breakfast served in the dining room each morning.||||This is an ideal base for visiting a whole number of National Trust properties, with lots of walking also available in the area (we didn't do any this trip, but saw all the signposts). Joanna and Paul have good local knowledge, plus a bunch of leaflets for you to browse through.||||Would definitely recommend.
