The room was ideal ie spacious, comfortable with a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. The ensuite bathroom very modern and clean. Our hosts were charming and the resident pooch - very cute. Breakfast was included and what we were offered was delish. Free WiFi available. Also, Lamberden House B&B is in close proximity to a number of amazing gardens and delightful small English towns.

We were here for 2 nights after arriving at Gatwick Airport. It is round about an hour's drive away and very central for touring around Kent, Sussex and even having a day in London. We had a very friendly welcome from Julian, Margie and the two dogs. The large room was delightfully decorated with a view over the garden and the Kent countryside. The shower room was equally attractive. We had excellent breakfasts cooked by Julian, who obviously enjoys looking after your every need. The homemade jams were super! We went to London for one day, driving first to Tunbridge Wells and getting the train from there right into the centre. The B&B wasn't exactly cheap but we felt it was worth the money and probably in this area it is the usual price for the kind of comfort which was offered. We can definately recommend it.

My husband and I enjoyed a thoroughly wonderful afternoon and evening at Lamberden Cottage. We arrived after a long day of driving and sightseeing and were warmly welcomed by Beverley and Branton. Tea in their lovely garden was the perfect way to unwind and we enjoyed hearing from Branton how the garden has been a labor of love over many years with many of the plants and trees representing family milestones. We received an excellent recommendation for dinner and were able to come back and unwind, read, and plan our adventures for the next day. ||||From the delicious breakfast to the thoughtful touches, our stay was delightful. We plan to return to Kent in the future and will, no doubt, return to the warm hospitality of Lamberden Cottage.

This is a real charming and inviting B&B run by two very nice and helpful people. The place is beautifully decorated and super clean. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and also spacious. Margie cooks up the perfect hearty English breakfast. We enjoyed our time there. You will need google map to find it though.

We stayed in Lamberden Cottage for 2 nights. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits by Brant in their beautiful garden with many pleasant places to sit down and enjoy the view. Later on we met Beverley. I cannot express how warm and kind they both have been to us, with a lot of information about the surroundings and a wonderful breakfast. They made us feel welcome and at home from the very first moment. The room was very charming and comfortable and there was more than enough space to park our car outfront. We cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay. We visited Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle and Rye during our stay. Also Great Dixter is very nearby. I would recommend it to anybody to stay with this very kind couple in their wonderful cottage.

We were here for a 2 night stay to explore the local countryside on our bikes. The B&B is ideally located for exploring both Kent and East Sussex.|We arrived early and were very warmly greeted and shown to our room. The room was large and beautifully appointed as was the en suite bathroom, both offering exceptional views across unspoilt Kent countryside.|The breakfast was delicious and we were spoils for choice.|Justin and Margie are the consummate hosts, nothing was too much trouble, I left wishing I could have stayed much longer.|Looking forward to my next visit.|

We’d consider ourselves semi professional B&B connoisseurs(!), having previously run one ourselves we know exactly what is involved and hence we appreciate a place like Lamberden Cottage even more. Having driven all the way from the south of France, arriving here was like arriving at a mirage style watering hole! Our hosts warmly welcomed us and offered us all the available accommodation so that the four of us could spread out in comfort. Our toddler delighted in frolicking around in the garden as the sun set on a beautiful, warm summer’s day and we relaxed on a bench, admiring the luscious garden. A local pub was recommended that was more than adequate and finally to bed, where we all slept beautifully in our nest-like rooms. Breakfast this morning was a delicious assortment of goodies from the garden, homemade jellies and a scrumptious avocado and bacon concoction that I found excellent and bang on the current gourmet trend. We were sad to leave this morning and will certainly return, especially as this place, as well as being utterly charming and perfect, represents jolly good value for money. Thumbs up!

I stayed one night at Lamberden Cottage as I was in the area for a friend's wedding. The room I stayed in had everything I needed, very comfortable and had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside! The owners were so hospitable and really made me feel welcome in their home (the breakfast was also amazing!!). If you visit don't forget to check out their lovely garden and all the fruit trees. A very special place indeed.
