I visited the cafe this morning and had a superb experience. The food was delicious and service was amazing! Had a very warm 36 hours here, never fished before but was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the range of stuff in the clubhouse.

Unfortunately we didn't catch any carp but we all had catfish (first one for my brother) so it wasn't a wasted trip.

Will definitely head to cackle hill again for some more fishing. Lovely, clean and well maintained lake and bankside.

We stayed in Kingfisher Lodge and had a lovely time.
Nice, clean lodge right on the waters edge! Beautiful view and setting, with good fishing on the mixed lake once we knew where the carp were hiding.
Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.
Highly recommend! 😀

Visited the cafe. Bacon and egg baps were tasty (fresh, soft bakery bread roles). Good customer service and suitable, quiet seating area. A good stop for a quick bite and a cup of tea or coffee. Nothing fancy, toilets could do with an update, but the food and service was good.

Not fishing but Breakfast. Stopped off on the way to the Airshow at Headcorn. Food cooked to order, nice and hot. Good coffee and good service.

This is 1 of my new favourite fishing lakes, which is saying something as I blanked. It gave me more incentive to return. Beautiful location and friendly staff. Also I couldn't wait for my friends to get up so went for a breakfast in the cafe and I have to say it was up there in my top 10 breakfasts I think. The lady in the shop was very friendly and helpful.

Dropped into Cackle Hill Lakes when we were passing through as we saw that there was a café there and decided to give it a try.
Excellent service and very friendly people, food was great and very tasty, decent size portions and it was not expensive.
They don't allow dogs for anyone who is thinking of visiting, not a deal breaker for us as our furry friend was at home, definitely recommend if you are in the area.
