We stayed in 2 family rooms on a Sunday night and was really happy with our stay. Great rooms, spacious & nice staff. The bar/restaurant area was lovely. Easy walk to town for a gig at the Civic hall - about 12-14 mins.

Lovely clean room. Great location near the train station and to the city centre shopping.
I enjoyed a evening meal here and breakfast. Theresa made my stay, very professional and polite. Very rarely come across great customer service this days where people go above and beyond for there customers but theresa was very attentive. Thank you for a great stay.

Booked at last minute, the room is very spacious and includes a fridge which is always a bonus. Ordered the burger which was nice but far too large for me. I would give 5stars but I had to search to find the small print about the £5 charge to park and the receptionist never mentioned it before charging me the extra.

We stayed here for 2 nights as I was competing at a nearby competition. The hotel was in the perfect location. |Check in was smooth and quick, our room (101) was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. They had even made the sofa bed up for us in advance so we didn’t have to wait for them to do this on arrival. |The room had everything we needed, a fridge, rituals toiletries and a good heater. |The buffet breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of food. |I would 100% recommend staying at the Novotel if you are in Wolverhampton.

Other reviews are correct good location close to station and town.
Unfortunately mold in bath, attitude and poor dinner service are also true.
Left waiting over an hour past check in time to be told allocated room not available, when complained given a room straight away.
Paid £30 extra for convenience of half board to find out you get £20 credit?
No duty manger or GM on site. informed entire hotel staffed by two after house keeping left, remember your own toothbrush.

To be fair the standard room was OK but dated and worn, effort had be made to remove mold but underlying issues.

Attempt at trio of sorbet, guess they ran out or could count or just can't be bothered.

Christmas tree looks nice though.

Avoid but not many options in location hence the very poor service and attitude though out.

Better than Premier Inn, rooms large with a sofa and desk chair and the desk comes out much the same as the TV so you do not crank your neck watching it. The channels are fairly standard. There is a proper pub with a dart board and snooker table and a nice restaurant and friendly staff. The menu is standard pub grab and they breakfast is very standard, disappointmented to discover the fun pancake machine was not working, it never said just do not let children play with it, it was out of order 2 days running sadly. Very busy and popular and managed to get in the overflow restaurant. I opted not to have my room cleaned to save the planet, l do not believe in all of this it's more about saving labour costs and if guests leave the lights on and no one checks energy is lost and up goes your energy bill! The car park is £5 a day and l walked into town, 10 minutes, it has good links near the tram station and bus station too. Did l mention the staff are very friendly and helpful.

A clean and tidy hotel, so certainly no complaints there.
Maybe getting a lock for the toilet would be a good idea. Having the toilet separate from the bath is fine in theory, but if you are sharing a room with someone (like I was) hygiene isn't exactly top of the list if you are waiting on someone exiting the bathroom after you've used the toilet 🤢 (just a thought).
Food was fairly OK, definitely passable, but most certainly not somewhere I would eat for the entirety of my hotel duration.
All in all it was a fine hotel. It was booked by my company, in reality it probably wouldn't be somewhere I would choose personally.

Another great stay at the Novotel Wolverhampton! The hotel is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. A special thanks to Emmanuelle, the operations manager, for exceptional leadership and to Sharon, whose friendly service made our visit even better. Looking forward to our next stay!
