Called in for a drink on a Thursday evening. An unusually lay out. Walked past the entrance thinking it was leading to the kitchen and the next door enters to the bar serving area. Went back to the 1st door.
A lot of steps inside, so possibly not ideal for disabled or unsteady elderly people.
The bar area had quite a few people enjoying themselves. Serving was quick and efficient.
Prices were reasonable. An told the food is good here but we only had crisps due to the lateness of our arrival.
We could here owls hooting in the church yard opposite.

Been twice now for food and it has been a good experience both times that I have been.

Fantastic customer service walk straight in the side door for the restaurant and with a few seconds someone is showing us to a table.

Complimentary water which wasn't needed but is nice to be asked.

The menu has some nice variety on it and its good food for the money.

Now onto the food have tried different meals both times and both times the quality of the food is amazing, great taste and plenty of it very filling.

Can't recommend this place enough, great friendly staff, amazing food and the price is worth every penny.

Not a great experience today at the PP, arrived, managed to get a table in the bar, ordered drinks and got a menu.

Went to place order for food, and was then told by manager that kitchen was too busy
But could wait around 45mins to order. If only this had been communicated when we arrived, I would not have ordered drinks.

Did not want to wait that long to order. So drank up and left.

The staff left previous customers plates and cups in the table.

Not a great experience overall.

Booked a Christmas Party meal for for 19 people in November. The manager very nicely allowed us to order from Xmas menu a week early. Food was served so everyone ate together. Highest quality with excellent waitress service. Would highly recommend

This was the first time having xmas dinner out in 62 years and considering how expensive it was I expected top quality food and ambience..this wasn’t the case.. 7 of us were put in booth style area…There was really only room for 6, we had to find a spare chair..it was a tight squeeze.
my starter consisted of 3 small scallops on pea puree..it was a tiny portion..those who had soup said it was tasteless and didn't eat it.
The main meal ; the veg wasn’t cooked, I do like al dente but they’re were still raw.
The gravy tasted like it had been made with granules and water.
2 people didn’t have a yorkshire pudding.
1 small pigs in blanket and a teaspopn of cranberry sauce...a bit stingy.
To finish MINI minced pies.
The only positive comment I can give was the cava on arrival and canapés were just OK. Although there was little cheese pastry which was hard.
The desserts were ok.
I didn't like to complain on the day as it was xmas day and everybody was in a jolly mood.

We had another delicious Sunday lunch here today. The staff are always so friendly and wait upon you hand and foot. Highly recommend the cheesy cauliflower on the side. Thank you guys you never disappoint.

A shabby room over a rowdy bar should not be called ‘luxurious’. Filthy carpets, a lumpy mattress, and a dirty shower added to the delight. The food is ok but the staff are rude and unhelpful. First and last visit.

My thoughts are haunted by this pint. Half pint? Unsure what to truly call it, but if I have to think of its existence every waking hour for the rest of this short, meaningless life so do you Google Review Viewers. So do you.

I can't give it one star as the bartender was young and I can't be cruel to the next generation just yet.
