Disappointed and Shocked

I ordered an ombre pink tall cake for my daughter's birthday costing £44.99, expecting the beautiful design shown on the website. However, the cake we collected was shocking in comparison—absolutely not as advertised, it was tilted onto one side and decoration poor.

When I raised this with the staff, they insisted that "this is how it is" and demanded we take it, leaving us with no real option as it was Christmas Day and we needed a birthday cake. They eventually offered us a cheaper, smaller cake instead costing £31.99, but then refused to refund the price difference £13, claiming we had "refused the original cake." How is this fair?

The whole experience was incredibly frustrating. The design quality was poor, and the customer service was even worse. I would strongly advise against ordering this particular design or relying on their services for a special occasion.

My experiences with Cake box in Crawley was good as I had a variety of cakes to choose from the display. In addition to this there is different sizes and variations of cakes with price differentiations depending on the cake you choose which helpful. The quality of the cakes are up to standards as they have full taste of flavour and many people who tried the cake that I brought during my school celebration enjoyed it. Overall the prices of the cakes are reasonable and the service is great as the staff were friendly. Definitely recommend.
