The coffee at this Pret is utterly disappointing and not worth the money. It’s clear that the quality has dropped significantly. The coffee is never fresh, and the foamed milk is a disgrace—light, airy, and full of bubbles, like it came out of an automatic machine. It’s certainly not the creamy, barista-standard milk that Pret used to serve. I used to choose Pret for its organic and flavorful coffee, but now it’s worse than Costa coffee, which says a lot.

The pricing is equally ridiculous. Charging £8 for a wrap or sandwich, even at an airport, is outrageous and completely unjustified given the quality. It feels like a blatant rip-off rather than a premium offering. Pret needs to step up its game urgently if it wants to maintain any credibility. This is not the Pret that customers have come to trust and expect.

Just had a delicious Fruit Oat and Spelt cookie at Pret in Gatwick South - you know...one of those yummy biscuits warm with just the right amount of crisp and soft balance! (Already eaten half in the picture!!) The Americano was great too...apparently all their coffees come single shot unless you ask which suits me fine..great flavour and aroma with cold milk on the side offered. I will visit Pret again. Oh, and they have some seating with high backs ....so I can lie back and chill before my flight...thanks Pret!

An early morning flight called for one of my fave pret items the tomato and cheese croissant. Delicious. Though definitely a price hike since I was last in London several years ago

Overall: - ★☆☆☆☆

Visitors be aware!!

From darling of the high street to national disgrace. This once much loved high street sandwich shop has had a dramatic fall from grace by now selling mediocre, over priced food. There are far better options out there and I highly recommend you AVOID this place like the plague.

Note to Pret - you will end up in the bin. Don't think you are too big to fail!

Food: Overpriced sandwich shop

What I liked:

• Absolutely nothing at all.

What I didn't like:

• Average at best hugely over priced food.
• £4.20 for a TINY, TINY slice of lemon cake. Max 50gms (think the weight of a decent packet of crisps) An absolute rip off.
• £3.50 for a TINY, TINY slice of banana cake. I mean really? Who are you kidding?
• The thickest of staff who had no idea when asked about nut content in the cookies instead just giving me a vacant look. A manager had to consult an A4 folder and couldn't find the cookies and even then when he did, he still wasn't sure! After Natasha's Law you would expect this to be a priority. Not at Gatwick South Terminal it seems. Profit seems to be the only order of the day.

Do I recommend going? NO
Will I go again? NO
Was it good value? NO

I just eat the worst sandwich in my life! Crayfish & Rocket tasted as paper! No taste, no flavour. Just nothing! Why you guys don’t use salt or pepper, for example, to make a receipt that tastes as food? Because you guys are selling polystyrene instead of food. Moreover, the prices are scary if you think about the quality of the “food”. Please, nobody deserves to have this experience. Run away if you can!

Downside is they only have 1 size and you unable to select a small. Cappuccino tasted okay.

I recently bought a salmon sandwich from Pret a Manger, a product I've had before and enjoyed. However, this time it was noticeably worse. There was no cheese on the sandwich, which significantly affected the flavor, especially since that's a key component. At £6.25 for a takeaway, it felt severely overpriced given the drop in quality. I used to appreciate Pret for its reliable taste and ingredients, but this recent experience was disappointing. The quality has clearly gone downhill, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. Unfortunately, I am on the flight, otherwise I would have requested refund! Terrible.
