Had a lovely stay at Brambles on a cycling tour through the south west. Alison couldn't do enough to make us feel settled on arrival and provided space for us to store our bikes. Binder in the room provided local pubs and restaurants to eat which was very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a range of fresh and hot food to choose from with veggie and gluten free catered for.

By far the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Peaceful, clean and quiet. David & Alison are lovely people. Spent the day in Exeter and managed to explore the area a bit as well. Hope to return someday.

We had a perfect stay here. From the lovely hosts to the very clean rooms, we felt very welcome and found everything we needed. The beds are comfy, the rooms nice and warm, the shower pressure is amazing, and the breakfast is rich and was freshly prepared for us on the spot. The garden is nice in any weather and there are many birds to watch during breakfast. It's a bit of a tight lane to get here, but our hosts were very helpful about it and provided a map beforehand. The price was fair and we had an overall lovely experience. We would always come back!

This place is a little gem. The owners are 💯 attentive and lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble. Fresh milk and more tea bags ect. Breakfast is everything you can think of ! Just lovely and the accommodation is perfect and more provided than I expected. It's cosy and comfortable. Perfect place to explore Devon from.

Superb communication from the owners prior to arrival included comprehensive directions avoiding the single track road. This was very much appreciated. ||The cottage was straightforward to find and we were greeted as soon as we arrived. Parking was easy and plentiful. ||Our room was the “Garden Room” which was the end room of an annex. The views out the window were fabulous. ||The room was clean, large and extremely warm and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. ||Breakfast was in the main house and was everything you expect at a B & B and was first rate. ||A very pleasant stop over and good value for money. ||I would recommend.

We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival from Alison. The room we had in the house was cosy, clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. Alison even brought us some fresh milk for a much needed cuppa after a long journey! We would definitely recommend the Brambles if you are looking for a peaceful location and a warm homely feel for a break away.
