Just popped in as I often see the sign on the main road when passing. It’s like stepping back in time with genuine friendly welcome and service.

I had the large English breakfast with coffee and black pudding. And it was probably one of the best fry ups Iv had in a long time. The sausages and bacon are proper and the eggs are delicious. If you’re passing through I recommend it!

Very much enjoyed our stay, the rural location was very charming and the local pub next door was convenient without being obtrusive. Whilst not fancy, the rooms were perfectly decent and everything was neat and tidy. While not particularly modern, the guest house boasts decent WiFi and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The location of the guesthouse is in a sleepy typical old English village with all the quaint charm that is associated with that, It provides a quiet retreat that is not far from the suburbs. My room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were both amenable and exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is private parking at the rear and breakfast was wonderful, nothing too much trouble. The local pub located next door provide real value for money tasty meals and I found the landlady and staff to be lovely.||The accommodation is excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it, have no complaints whatsoever.

Stayed for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding in the area and visited the Safari Park beforehand. Room was very comfortable. Trevor and Sylvia are excellent hosts and their huge breakfasts really set you up for the day. Found the pub next door to be a very friendly place too, with excellent food. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.
