Accommodating staff, great service, nice comfortable rooms. Buffet breakfasts lovely and consistent. Buffet dinner was launches during our stay and was well worth the money. Well worth the money in every aspect.

Where do I begin? From advertising free car parking when it's actually not, to room keys that refuse to let you into your room, to the handle on the window in the room nearly falling off...

Welcome to Fawlty Towers.

- Car Parking is NOT free. No matter what any online booking agent tells you, there is a requirement to pay and that is despite any false advertisements online.
- Room keys. Always ask for two because you can guarantee the one you get given will not work. The second one probably won't work either and then there will be nobody at reception to help you gain access to the room you have paid for.
- Windows. Don't touch them, like
really, don't. When I finally got into Fort Knox, the room was like the inside of an oven. So, naturally, you go to open the window, just to find the handle nearly comes off when you do so. If you like it hot, perfect, if not, stay somewhere else!
- Service. What service? I went to check in after discovering you had to pay for parking (Hotels.com advertised the hotel as having free car parking when I booked), however the young lass at the check in counter (who must've been skipping school to work there) was having a lovely chat with some other guests. It wasn't even about the hotel, just a general chat. 10 minutes passed before she finally decided to actually do her job, and at this point, I had to argue about the car parking.

A very dissatisfied experience and definitely one to avoid if you can. There is an Ibis not too far away where they have actual people trained in customer service working there, I suggest you book there instead. This hotel needs to be shut down.

After arriving in crewe the hotel i originally bioked was closed! A nearby hotel had not availability but suggested Belvilla. So glad they did! Staff so friendly, room was great! Very modern and everything you need from a hair dryer to toiletries. Very comfy bed too. Breakfast was great, good selection of
hot and cold items, and good quality, sausage bacon and mini hash browns with scrambled egg fresh and tasty.

Not great. Visited for business - despite being on 3rd floor I had to go down to reception myself to get ironing board. Then electrical issue in room mean lights didn’t work. Following day business meeting in hotel was ok until lunch when they provided 1 piece of bread made into two small sandwiches per person. That was it for a business buffet lunch. Total joke so most of the group decamped to McDonalds in the car park.

1 night stay whilst travelling for business, good value, comfortable room with all the ameneties needed, great sized shower, quick and simple check in, breakfast was slightly more limited on choice than some other hotels but was very tasty and at the pricepoint the hotel is charged at I have no complaints.

this is the former holiday inn building and like many of the takeovers of these buildings its because the prior brand didnt want to go to the expense of a refurb in my opinion - everything was clean, but without the refurb their were a few areas looking a little run down (some flaky paint on the bathroom doorframe, some walls needing a lick of paint, etc) but overall nothing major at a budget hotel pricepoint.

would stay again as it hits all my requirements - clean, warm, comfy, parking and wifi

Went with Caledonian coach as a trip rooms are quite spacious and bathroom and shower decent .we went last year before it changed hands but disappointingly the eve meal hasn't changed from then frozen mixed veg instant mash potato and pie . or pasta no other choices so glad Macdonalds is across the car park so me and my granddaughter didn't go hungry .don't think I'd choose this hotel to stay again
