Really enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area it’s big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and it’s wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanks

Just visited, the place has changed,no upstairs seating only downstairs, food was just as good as the previous visits .
Another visit just as good as the last, had the same meal again ,very nice coffee with ameretto flovour ,wife had the home made soup, which was also great , staircase is a little steep as it's an old building but that adds to the Charm as do the separate rooms, very friendly staff, excellent choice of food good choice of flavoured coffees

Staff are lovely, hilarious and welcoming. don’t expect snappy service on the payment front, especially if busy. Espresso tasty. The cakes are delicious but outrageously priced especially if you have an intolerance/allergy - bought a gf and ve slice of cake cost us £12, no drinks incl. Will go back, once I’ve saved up 😆

Friendly, nice coffee, lots of interesting seating areas inside, and a quiet pedestrian street to enjoy outside. Those caramel shortcakes look amazing too!

Only negatives are that it's definitely on the higher end price-wise and there's no WiFi. Suspect I'll still be popping back before the end of my stay in Nantwich though!

I’m giving 5 stars simply because food was excellent and so was service. A lovely place to eat. Might not be cheapest but I’d say it was value for money based on quality.

A small gripe which has considered dropping a star for but decided on balance not to… if you have an americano be aware the two sizes have been he same number of shots of coffee in them so you’re paying extra to dilute your coffee with water. I had the smaller size and found it to be a little weak for my taste (I do like very strong black coffee though). The larger size would have been too weak and why charge for a little more water? A small gripe easily solved by sticking an extra shot in the larger cup size.

Popped in for a freshly-baked sourdough and coffee. Can confirm the bread is 10/10 and so was my latte. Lovely server and generally a really nice atmosphere.
