The host has no morals I booked this apartment around 5 months ago for a festival in Milton Keynes. 3 weeks before the date I was asked to pay full amount which I did the day before we due he cancelled saying it needed urgent work. I had booked through booking.com and my stay in Milton Kyens never got sorted until 6 am on the Saturday we were due to after about 12 calls the problem was the host would not cancel or get back to booking.com because he wanted me to cancel and loose my 550.00 which I had already paid the host is a scammer I do not even know why he is allowed to still advertise on booking.com

They realised that a large well waited.for event is happening on the weekend we have booked and are now harrassing me to cancel my end, saying the apartment needs emergency work doing. Funny that the rest of the apartments are now up for between 600-800 pounds but ours is 125, they are harrassing me to cancel my end so they can relist with a huge upcharge. ||||Disgusting morals. ||||Oh and all the reviews I've read talk about how it's dirty, hazardous and not up to standard. I wasn't even bothered about that I just needed a bed to sleep in after the event. Guess I'll be buying a tent now.

What follows below are two messages we sent regarding The Blue Sapphire Apartments. The first is to the Bucks Fire Service because we considered the building a fire hazard. The fire prevention equipment (dry riser) is clearly not connected. The second message is to the Management service for which we did not receive a reply. ||FOR YOUR ATTENTION.||On Wednesday last, the 27th October 2021, a party of my friends and I, stayed in a holiday apartment in central Milton Keynes. We were immediately struck by a number of potential fire hazards which we feel impelled to draw to your attention.|| The multi storey apartment appears to be multi occupancy with a mixture of privately owned apartments and rental, both residential and holiday lets. Whilst many of the following observations may be outside your remit, we do feel one does require immediate residual action. ||In the entrance lobby, the dry riser is clearly not connected with an open ended pipe in evidence. There is only one evident stairwell to the various floors. The building has no staff in attendance though our booking notification states there are security cameras. ||In the entrance lobby there is much dry leaves blowing about and in the corridors and stairwell there are areas of litter that has clearly been there some time. Near the entrance door are old ‘For Sale’ wooden hoardings. ||In our room there were no fire emergency instructions (or indeed any kind instructions) what to do in the event of an incident. In the corridors, there are signs, most of which are illuminated, pointing down the long corridor to the foresaid one stairwell. We were at the end of a single long corridor which only had the one exit to the stairwell at the far end.||I am sending the owners a copy of this message. I have other issues I wish to raise with them that are not fire related.||The address concern is –||BLUE SAPPHIRE||352 Avebury Boulevard||Milton Keynes||MK9 2JH||The only contact number I have for Blue Sapphire is 078252900296||Another guest expressed concern so you may well have been contacted already.||Thank you for your kind attention. ||_________________||What follows is the feedback we intend to give to ‘Booking.com’ regarding our overnight stay in an apartment at Blue Sapphire, Milton Keynes on the night of October 27th 2021.||The most important issue is the one I have already contacted over – the total lack of fire precaution in the building.||Instructions for locating the apartment ||The short u-tube clip was next to useless with a very odd soundtrack. How are you supposed to remember that when you are driving? Most people using this accommodation will not have been to Milton Keynes before. We believed the four digit 9694 code to be an actual parking bay, not a tiny numbered plate on the side of a parking machine. You might want to make this clearer.||Inside the apartment building ||Some of this has already been mentioned. The litter in the hallways and stairwell. What was not mentioned was the smell of drains in the corridor leading to our room.||Flat 24||There was no plug in the kitchen sink. There were only three cups. There were only two breakfast cereal dishes. No lampshades on the ceiling lights – COME ON!||No mirrors in the bathrooms. Total lack of shelving or any flat surface in the bedrooms.||The television appeared to have some kind of Internet connection. We did not have our password with us so we had no television. As it happens, it didn’t matter, we spent as little time in the room as possible. The windows were set strangely elevated, you had to stand up to look out. Given that the walls are just large areas of blank whiteness, it engendered a feeling of being in a prison cell, which it really felt like.||||||The cheap furniture, both the settee (not big enough for four) and the table seats were extremely uncomfortable. Devoid of any ‘homely’ type fixtures and fixings, apart from two rather strange looking prints. One of our party found the bedroom so depressing, she spent the night trying to sleep on the sofa. ||OUR APPARTMENT IS DIFFERENT TO THE ONE SHOWN ON ‘BOOKING.COM’ AND YOUR CONFIRMATION E-MAILS.||Total lack of any kind of information. ||I will say the bed linen was clean and we had a good shower in out tiny bathroom, although the handheld shower did not fit into the clip in the other shower. ||In short, it was a nasty, little soulless dump and certainly not worth the £155 charged. We could have had two rooms in a premier Inn for less.||It should be pointed out these apartments are totally unsuited for disabled.||Totally unfit for purpose and we feel cheated and angry. It seems unlikely to me that little will come of this message, but just to advise that it is our intention to publish our observations on as many feedback sites as we can find, obviously including Booking.com.||Thank you for your attention.

Never heard back from Blue Sapphire. Truly horrendous. Avoid at all cost. I would rather have stayed in a leaky tent in January than to have stayed in this dingy hole. Without doubt, this is the worst apartment by far we have ever stayed in.
