we stayed one night, a family on a budget, to celebrate and travel into London. Simple accommodation, but very clean and great location for getting tube into town. But what made it was the kindness and care of the staff, Rochelle and Michelle, especially went out of their way to advise and help and turned our stay into something special, helping us to leave luggage, warming up my granddaughter's pancakes, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend for families, couples, friends, groups on a budget, who still want to feel special and like they matter. Thanks.

Not too bad for a 2 star hotel, close to transport links, cool museums near by, Banksy art close by if you want to check it out in real life. Quite noisy as near student apartments comedy club and main road but ear plugs helped and I still got my 8 hours. Mouldy smell from bathroom which is the reason for 4 star instead of 5...we worked out it was due to the shower curtain, needs replacing which is an easy fix, shower pressure weak but always hot... otherwise can't complain really. Very average with what we'd expect from a travelodge. Price competitive for London so we took the risk and more happy than not 🙂

Hotel itself is fine. Right next to the tube and quick to get anywhere central. Perfectly adequate for the budget. The standout point is the staff who are super friendly. Thanks especially to Michelle who made sure every silly question was quickly answered with a smile.

Room smaller than it looked on li e. But ok for a couple of nights, limited hanging space for clothes. |Friendly check in , receptionist decided to change our allocated room to a one further from train noise|Breakfast good, Michelle was very helpful. She kept the area spotless and everything replenished. She evidently takes pride in her work.

The staff were lovely and the location was great (3 minutes from the tube) but this was the room was old, dirty and grubby. It needed a deep clean. The sheets felt old, a towel had a massive stain on it. The room had a musty smell, I think from the mattress or duvet. The common areas and lifts needed a sweep and mop. I never felt comfortable there, but we needed a room at the last minute. I have stayed in other Travel Lodges, but never again. Not after this experience.

The staff are so very friendly and helpful!! Michelle was the best, helping with suggestions for breakfast and making sure we felt right at home. We even had help with some donuts that needed refrigeration. The room was clean, enough pillows and good WiFi. Would highly recommend for any trips to the area!

Room very basic but clean and well presented. Good value for money. Excellent location, close to under ground station and bus stop.Would recommend if looking for a 1 night or 2 night.
Excellent service.
