Aqueduct Marina and Caravan Park - Nantwich

Liked: The site was lovely well kept and the toilets were clean and lovely and warm!
The site is very quiet obviously you have the traffic from tourists but it stopped after 9 pm.

All pitches looked well maintained and easy to pitch up and relax and enjoy

Disliked: There were no dislikes my only criticism was there was no signage for the toilet waste area I had to go into reception but once we found it we were highly impressed there was hand washing facilities and it was very clean and tidy

Liked: The pitches was easily accessible with level gravel pitches with electric and water on the pitch.

Disliked: Toilet/shower block was quite a distance from the caravan pitches, closer to the marina but not a great distance to walk and it was very dark at night and a torch was needed.

It’s clear to see the main bread and butter of the business is the marina and the caravan pitches came later, maybe some extra thought might be needed to enhance the “Caravan Park”.

Liked: Spacious pitches with great facilities on pitch. Secure site. Nice cafe on site. Very clean toilet and shower facilities. Very quiet and peaceful site. WiFi on pitches was great and good tv reception

Disliked: Only 2 showers in each male and female facilities shared with boaters too. Quite a walk away from the pitch too. Maps could do with being a bit more detailed struggled to find elsan point.

Liked: Fantastic facilities - HUGE pitches!!! So calm and peaceful! Everything was emailed beforehand so made it really easy to just pitch up. Lovely walk down the canal with our dog in the morning

Disliked: None - just couldn’t try the cafe as there was a power cut

Excellent facilities toilets and showers, WiFi included.
Lovely cafe with a good range of food and hot & cold drinks.

Liked: Clean,quiet,spacious. Loved the cafe who served the best burger I have had in a while. Staff very friendly, good laundry facilities and residents of marina very helpful and friendly. Value for money good but a few tweaks needed. Location is very pretty.

Disliked: If I had to give constructive criticism: One of us is uses a wheelchair, gravel on all pitches is not wheelchair or attendant friendly, road inside pitch area very uneven for mobility, bins too high for wheelchairs, no dog waste bins closer to pitches. Ramp by elsan not wheelchair friendly. Facilities such as showers and laundry are a distance away for anyone with mobility problems. It is understandable that this is first and foremost a marina, however accessibility could either be improved or described better.
This is not going to prevent us returning but does mean that one of us cannot enjoy the stay as fully as the other without relying heavily on help. Also would be beneficial to have ability to purchase some basic groceries to prevent having to leave site if in motorhome.

Liked: Love the quietness, scenery, cleanliness. Cafe a little bit pricey but top notch on quality and staff are friendly and spotless and all food yummy especially the coleslaw. Toilet/ shower lovely and clean and there was shampoo/conditioner body wash too. Everything on site that you need.

Disliked: Had a family emergency so had to leave in the middle of the night, these things happen but missed out on breakfast and lovely walks

Liked: Good size pitch’s, shower very good, could do with a bit more lighting when walking into the showers in the dark. Overall a nice site. Will definitely go back.
