We recently stayed the night at Oakland House en route to a wedding on the Wirral. Sue the owner was very welcoming, professional and business-like. We stayed in one of the cosy, comfortable and well-equipped chalets in the garden which overlooks the Cheshire countryside. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, and the chalet equipped with a good sized bathroom. We really enjoyed the full English breakfast - generous portions, nicely cooked, and well-presented. Breakfast was taken in the spacious well-appointed dining room in the main house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (including relaxing in the garden) and will recommend Oakland House to friends and family. Excellent value for money.

We stayed at The Oakland House B&B last weekend and it was lovely.. a 1st class little B&B which is located about 3 miles outside of Nantwich. We were greeted upon arrival by Sue and Tony and they immediately made us feel very welcome. We were shown to our room which was in the 'annex' area at the rear of the building. It's set in lovely gardens with views over the countryside and lots of parking space right outside the room.||The room itself was spotless, bright and airy with a good sized bathroom and tea / coffee making facilities. The bed was very comfy and the whole feel of the place was cosy and exactly what a B&B should be.||Breakfast was excellent, cereal if you wanted followed by a freshly cooked, full English! Perfect start to the day when your doing some walking or shopping. We drove into Chester on Sunday afternoon and it took around 25 mins. We also walked into Nantwich on the Saturday after our arrival and it took around 40 mins.. quite a nice pleasant walk too.. thanks to Sue for her advice about the little scallies who have turned the sign for Nantwich round to face the opposite way!!||All in all a perfect little B&B for overnight, weekend or even longer stays. Sue was very helpful and friendly and her daughter is lovely. We would definitely recommend this B&B if ever your looking for one in this area.||Thank you to you both for making our stay so enjoyable..

We stayed in Nantwich for four nights to do some family research and wanted to stay in a quiet rural setting. Oakland House was adequate for our needs, however the room was small and basic. The nights were cold for us but we felt cosy in our room and we were able to get a good night's sleep. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. If you are looking for somewhere to eat there is a beautiful English pub just five minutes walk up the road. The only downsize was poor internet reception in the room which was frustrating.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Very comfortable room and well equipped, good location for Nantwich town centre, very tasty cooked breakfast in nice dining room. But number one thing for us was the way we were treated by the owners- they were brilliant at their job and genuinely nice people. Went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasure. Would highly recommend this place for affordable accommodation at a high standard of service.

I stayed as part of a tour, so Nantwich was a convenient stopping point with connections to North Wales and the M6. Great warm welcome, and accommodation for my motorbike in the garage! Purpose built rooms have many features of a motel. Facilities fine, bed comfy, nice shower, and very good breakfast. No Wi-Fi.

We stayed here for 2nights. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was in an annex at the back of the property which made it very quiet. We had two lovely freshly cooked breakfasts. If anyone is looking for a place to stay in the area I would highly recommend it.so much nicer than an anonymous chain hotel.as well as being cheaper!!the people who run it are a warm friendly couple who made us very welcome.we look foreward to visiting again when we are in the area

This location was chosen for us by locals and was a hit. The English breakast daily was fabulous. The room was warm and cozy. Loved the neighboring cows right beyond the garden/yard area. Close to our friends and the towns. the family does a very nice job!
