Cute cafe 🙂 Great for a calm morning breakfast, especially in the sun. Stopped here on my way to the flower market. Very tasty turmeric latte and pistachio croissant. Will be re-visiting when I am in this area. Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed.

During my stay in London, I regularly came to Rastro Café for my morning coffee and breakfast. The coffee is excellent and the croissants are also delicious. Easily one of the best coffee shops I've visited in London.

A beautiful cafe next to Bethnal Green Station. Don't be fooled by its unassuming exterior because they do make excellent foccacia and sourdough. I am very picky about my coffee and always ask *and support) artisan coffee. Therefore on my visit I did ask if they serve artisan coffee and my heart sank a bit, when they asked me what that meant. Nevertheless, I gave in to my craving and thought I'd risk it as long as they didn't say it was some kind of Italian chain brand.
And I must say, I did not regret it!! The coffee was excellent.
The cafe was clean and tastefully decorated and a clear favourite of coffee lovers.
The staff are friendly and go the extra mile to make customers happy! I had left my bag and totally forgotten about it, when the barista came running up behind me down the street to hand over my bag!

Visited in June 2023. We came after lunch locally in the area and this coffee shop was the best rated and closest to where we were. The service was great; friendly and welcoming. The menu options were full of coffee classics. Seating is a bit minimal, but we were happy to sit outside and soak up the incredibly lively Bethnal Green Road atmosphere. Great tasting coffee and would recommend anyone needing a good cup of Joe.

Lovely coffee and friendly service but a few things to improve on. Only throw away cups even when you drink in. Plastic straw for the babychino. The matcha was made with a sipsmith blend which only contains 28% matcha - most of it is coconut sugar and as a result the matcha latte just tastes like sugary milk. Couldn't drink it, unfortunately.

Saw someone else eating a Classico sandwich and had to try it. Great sandwich. And Rastro Tuesdays meant a free coffee and no charge for an extra shot. Super friendly people.
